Daily prioritising is what mostly happens with most of us in daily life. And I appreciate when you have put up ...say a chandelier in 1 room...but later decide it needs changing. I dont think guests expect “hotel quality” space. They are coming to see you and of course how the work is progressing. Loss of sleep can create mistakes/accidents. Please look after yourselves. You can burn out and then what!?

Alla & Sergi, you both need a pause. You are gracious hosts, however, it is Ok to say "no" once in a while. Let your guests stay in the green room, or find a hotel or Airbnb. My word! Additionally, guests do not need perfection, plus it will smell like paint. Alla, you need an apron, you should not ruin all your cute clothes on renovation. You will have a lifetime to do so. Practicality needs to move front & center. Just because that one chateau owner felt the need to climb ladders in high heels and dresses, (ridiculous) you do not have to follow her! As much as we love cute Sherry, she needs parameters. I never let my dog on furniture and or beds. They need to make do with their own space and or beds. Furniture including beds is a $$ investment. Fact, not all guests love dog hair. There is no way to put that. I am sorry, yes I am a dog lover too. Yes, working under pressure does get things done, but you may fall off a stool and ladder. Mistakes and or accidents happen when you are tired. Please play it safe!
