I like the chandelier in the main area as it is now. It makes it look very elegant. I think the brass will be a bit of a downgrade.

the cornice can extend out over the ceiling, and not need to be so deep going down the wall...you will get the importance without the depth on the wall....

I can’t wait to see the chandelier.Then the fireplace/ stove because that’s too cold for you. With the winter clematis, you could cut a few pieces and root them . I’ve used a product called root tone maybe you could get that.

Agree with you on the chandelier in the kitchen, especially when you are using it as a kitchen. Without powerful extraction it will get dirty and lose it's sparkle. Like your alternative idea.

look as the chandelier has the chrystals installt wrong? They are not supposed to hang down, but to go from arm to arm of the chandelier, under the lightfitting

Miss Alla, since you wanted deeper ceiling mouldings for your studio, have you considered adding additional moulding onto the ceiling? Just by applying 1 inch sized moulding about 4-5 inches away from the edges of the moulding you've already installed and painting it all the same color will give the illusion of deeper mouldings.
