The fireplace is well done and look nice and the chair match the room with the table on the side lovely room I always admire your courage to improve any situation keep enjoying it with the challenges both of you with Cherie too take care bye
I think, use the green fire place as a side table. Make a top for it and underneath a pretty cushion for cherry or a pot plant. A nice fern or something.
Ohh the villa looks spectacular in the dusky light! What an enchanting place you are in! And making a big difference in your neighborhood! Well done! ❤
My love, sometimes there are treasures not worth saving ! ❤ learn to say goodbye ❤and find the ones that are ! ❤and then sometimes they will becoming someone else’s treasure !
The beautiful cabinet you are always moving further and further away would have looked so beautiful in your entryway against the wall. It could hold car keys, mittens, gloves scarfes etc..plus some gardening tools you dont want to leave in little garden. You could put that old tapestry on top with a beautiful big welcoming lamp..above a rack for hats etc so many things you have to grab when going for a walk like a leash..missed opportunity...😢
Hi Alla have you maybe thought about turning the terracotta fireplace into a side table with wood storage inside? It is such a beautiful thing, it would be such a pity not to use it? The other option was to use it as the end of a counter with a basket 🧺 for storage or shelves inside and a workbench over the top and mounted to the wall on the other side, just a thought 💭, love your channel ☺️☕️🐶
Ciao Alla and Sergi, the fireplace is beautiful, nice job on that. I think replacing full tiles would be better, but that's just from my view, because they are so thick. Your little piece of heaven on earth, is totally Bellissima day and night. Amore da N.Y.
I love that little stove! Will you not have heat in your entry/studio? I'm always amazed you don't have more subscribers, Alla. Your channel is always interesting, the renovations are intelligent, and your garden is amazing!
Beautiful sunsets there Alla. If the green fireplace would be ok out in the weather then yes use it as an outside fire or pot for lemon tree. If not, as others have suggested utilise it indoors somehow. It may take a while to fix up but you could just do it in between other jobs. Dont store it anywhere though as you said, as its already been for a couple of years. You'll work it out. Im glad your channel is growing.🧡🎶🐶🍋🥂❣️
The lights look great! May I suggest you give a review of how you got the house, the initial condition and a full tour to update us all and especially for the newcomers. Also, do you both have other jobs besides renovating? AND, may this channel continue to grow as it is really delightful:)
The front room is going to be much brighter than before. I remember when you couldn't open the door! So much has changed is such a short period of time. Great job!
The fireplace looks great! Maybe the green fireplace would be better to give to someone else as you may rather spend your time doing murals or painting instead? Looks like Cheri is going to enjoy the entrance hall room though! Thank you for showing the beautiful sunsets as well 😊
The new room is really coming along fastI 👏 you have inspired me to create a room out of my entrance hall! If I come and clean and tidy all your rooms could you please come and paint me a mural? 😊 xx
Good job as always. I think if the front part of the fireplace could be apart ,by the way the colour is nice, maybe somewhere in the garden put on a wall a faucet and decorate it with this front part.
The fireplace turned out so nice ❤ Alla ❤ !! And the room, too, can't wait to see how you will transform it into your studio. I know ppl all the time giving you ideas or opinions. Well, here comes mine😂 why you guys turn your third floor into a lil rent/airbnb apartment?? Im sure a lot of ppl will love to travel n stay there, instead of a noisy hotel. N will b an extra income for you to invest or travel or give you some financial freedom. You can even advertise it from your channel. I'm sure you will have a full booked year. Just a thought!
Could you just make your own terrazzo and fill in the little spots. With your artistry, I think you would be able to make it blend in seamlessly and would be the easiest and simplest solution. You likely have the little pieces in those rubble bags right now.
How about break (hammer) up one of those tiles into small pieces, then put concrete or mortar onto those gaps and fill them with a mosaic of well fitted little tile pieces, like a very small version of your beautiful back patio! If you need to you can touch it up with a little bit of paint! That would be so much easier than trying to bust out those big tiles!
I think that green fireplace would look good in the garden as a wood burning stove in one of the seating areas. Think how lovely it would be to have a fire outside while you sip your Prosecco.
buy a stunning pot decrorative to stand inside so you can see the pot through the front opening and you can plant either your lemon tree or by a very tall green fern like plant repaint the fire thingy so its the nice green , another option it to buy a very decorative pot and place it inside this fire thingy but place the pot upside down so the opening is facing down and base of pot is upwards then you could stand a potted plant on top inside a second decorative plant pot of same pattern and colour as the base pot as this will lift the height of your chosen plant or tree. as the tree grows you can then remove easily the bottom decorative plant pot so that the tall tree can then sit more on the bottom. an alternative cheaper option later is to get some plane square tiles or paving type stone and paint them the same colour as the fire thingy then stand your pot on top of that . even a thick block of wood cut would be an option but the decorative pot at the bottom would give a nice thing to look at
sorry another solution to covering the hole is to have a length of dowl to use as a curtain rail and then make a small curtain to hang from it so the hole is not open but has a fabric curtain inside. the dowl (narrow rod of wood) can be wedged inside to keep it on place
Fix it, paint it with glossy enamel green like it is, find a stone/ tile/marble top and use the inside for a statue. Use it as a side table or table for lamp. Don't put it outside. It is to delicate for the weather.
Hi Alla, it’s amazing the positive vibes you get when having a room tidy and clean, even though it is a work in progress, as it lightens the heart, doesn’t it? I was thinking about something that you mentioned recently; sorting and clearing old things. To take a day per fortnight (month?) to organise to have a load for the Mercantino (sp?) or for the Tip? A steady decluttering that isn’t overwhelming? The sunny days you are having are beautiful. Enjoy, regards Susan.
Would put the fireplace outside. Weather and wind will remove the paint or loosen it. It can well be that it will not withstand the weather and it cracks completly. Just don’t spend time on it right now. It would have been great for the lemon tree but is the weight and the work worth all your time and trouble?
Alla your time is better spent doing other important jobs that need your attention than renovating your old green fireplace when as you say you could pick up something lovely from one of your brocants ….. ❤
It might be nice to begin each video with a view of your home and/or the lake, mountains, etc so that new viewers sent your way will be intrigued right from the start and will know where exactly you are. I think you used to do this.☃️
Keep front of fireplace throw the rest away. The front is in good condition and looks pretty. You would have to decide how to use it. The room is really coming along❣️
@debbiebrock2665 are you saying that to me, or did you mean to say that to Alla? I think we're all looking forward to Spring, sunshine and warmth, and days in the garden... aren't we?🌷
I don't think the floor tiles will be very noticeable when fixed, it seems a big job to remove tiles.....I would just put small pieces in but Im lazy 😅Love your channel A&S you will get to 10k subscribers soon, very well deserved.
Personally the stove with the work and cracks is only going to be a lot of work and it will probably fall apart?? Your call, I recall the time you walked up to the village above and there was a young boy playing the trumpet
Little fireplace is so cute. I would put it in the garden, cut wood to enclose the front cover the wood inside with plastic to help maintain it and plant your lemon tree or something out in the lower garden along the walkway? I like the green, but the weather will remove it for you outside, no storage needed and maybe be a future project/plaster the wood with cement, pebble, a tile design or herringbone. In America that would be a unique, one of a kind, never to be found again item that is lovely.
Have you thought of using a faux fire log plug in space heater inside the fireplace?? If you are willing to ship I'm sure there would be plenty buyers :D
Maybe do a fast repair with paint stripper, some glue and a fresh coat of paint without doing a completely perfect job will suffice in one to two partial days.
Love the little green fireplace. It has character and will be lovely when eventually repurposed.
Thank you for the beautiful walk Alla! Another lovely vlog! Come on youtube Alla is so close to 10,000 ❣❣❣

Maybe fill the gaps in the floor with concrete and then paint it to match the tiles. I'm sure with your artist talent you could do it
What a great idea! Well done you!
Great idea!! Alla can paint anything!
Good idea!👍

The green fireplace is beautiful, you can add a piece of marble on top and plant flowers inside , and use it in your garden.
Maybe a use it as a stand for the big lion statue.
The little fireplace is soo pretty. You could make it an unusual bedside table with books. Or a side table with a chair.
Looks so beautiful 😍
Love your view it looks amazing 💕 also your lovely home 🥰
Maybe you could use the green thing as an umbrella holder next to the door. Thanks for the video.
Great idea
Great jazzy song - about you !!! Hope Cherie didnt wander off - when you let him out !!
Ok - there she is !!
I love that little stove! Will you not have heat in your entry/studio? I'm always amazed you don't have more subscribers, Alla. Your channel is always interesting, the renovations are intelligent, and your garden is amazing!

The fireplace came with the villa, it would be a shame to throw it away, I say put it away for a rainy day project in the future ❤

I would say, you’ve done so many fantastic hours into prior renovations, I would say to sell it.
Hope you’re having a great productive rest of the week ❤
I would use the green fireplace as a pedestal for a ?square-ish plant pot (same size) to sit on the top in the garden
A stunning view as always Alla
Maybe clear up after you have done the work straight after thst way you won't get so anxious about the mess
❤❤Alla

Can't it be used as a fireplace when repaired...it is gorgeous...especially "green".
I think that green fireplace would look good in the garden as a wood burning stove in one of the seating areas. Think how lovely it would be to have a fire outside while you sip your Prosecco.

Please don't put it in the garden. It wont lasts 5 min's . Put a lovely top on it and make a side table or some other feature x x

😁
Sell or donate the fireplace.
Alla your time is better spent doing other important jobs that need your attention than renovating your old green fireplace when as you say you could pick up something lovely from one of your brocants ….. ❤
Question, why do some houses have rocks on their tile roofs?
To keep their tiles from blowing away.
Здравствуйте, Алла и Сергей. А вы будете реставрировать жалюзи на фасаде и решетки на окнах?
Обязательно

Let the stove go. It's time😊
I agree. It's not worth the time when you have so many other and higher priorities.
Put a mesh where the opening is - the umbrella stand for the fireplace sounds like an idea
