Thank you for this- very useful! I've just got the S22 and am not the most techie of people but wanted to make sure I was using my camera/video to the best of their ability so I can get some practice in before my holiday in June and this helped me loads! I'm going to watch your video on how to save battery life next :)
1 quick correction. Focus enhancer is for macro photography not for pictures taken as far away as you captured.
@donvincenzoo The Focus Enhancer is a macro photography feature, Samsung just doesn't advertise it that much
@@BMA_Onkill I don't have that on my S22 it seems
@@SonOfTamriel its only on ultra
I just got my ultra and I don't see this option
Still makes photos look worse
One of my favorite features to shoot selfie shots is the "Show palm" not mentioned in the video (or I missed it). When taking a selfie, hold up your hand, palm facing camera and it takes a pic 3 seconds later. It's in settings> shooting methods. Brilliant
Yeah i had that on my s20+ too its an amazing feature
It's not a new feature I have it on my note 8
Yeah i love that feature too because I didn't like trying to post and try to stretch my finger to take a pic while in a pose/position
This was a BRILLIANT help, thank you so much! TFS 👍 ❤
Everything I wanted to know is included - immenseley helpful, thank you!
Your video was super helpful!! Wish I would of watched it before my trip. I'm so glad I will be able to take better pictures now!!
this was extremely helpful. thank u for taking the time to share
Thank you. I just upgraded to the S22, and you saved me a LOT of experimenting. Much appreciated. Merry Christmas 🎄.
What I’ve seen from reviews sampling sound from this phone it’s just amazing, I don’t know many BT headphones that could match it, and certainly no ear buds
OMG, this was so helpful! Thank you! I do have a question regarding editing pictures and saving. I somehow changed a setting ... when I edit a photo it saves the photo as the original, not a copy.... and I dont know how to revert it back to the factory setting! Any ideas?
too good , nicely explained almost everything in this video
Just got my S22+. This video helped me a lot. Thank you so much!!!!
thank you, learned a lot. Didn't realize there was so much in the app!
took me ages to find a video like this, thanks so much, so helpful :)
What widget are you using for time date and weather? I can't find that one in the widgets but that looks really efficient!
Focus enhancer is for getting really close to things (macro), it switches to the ultra wide lens but allows for focus when really close to the subject.
Not for use for anything else.
Sometimes the phone will prompt that little yellow dot meaning its using cropped ultra wide but make sure to toggle off if used anytime other than for macro.
Your right. Just tried it. Cheers
Lol! He better change the title or else is kind a misleading.
This is an awesome how-to video. Thanks so much! 2 thumbs up!
Thank You so much, very helpful. Be Well!🤓😊
Thank you! Great info.
Thanks so much for this video. Helped me so much
This video was so informative! Thank you so much
You did a great job! Thank you.
Can you please recommend a portable microphone for the Samsung Galaxy S22? I need something like a LAV to record video while I am hiking. Thank you so much for your videos. I appreciate it.
Very helpful, thank you for sharing!!!
Thank you for this informative video for the s22. Not many out there, which are made well. Just logged in to give a 👍 up
Greats tips thank you!! For uploading to Instagram, is 60 FHD still best for overall quality? Thank you!!
Amazing Camera Review. Thank you so much.
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks! Am getting an S22 Ultra for holiday but needed to know what it could and could not do. Not sure I see Timelapse there (Same as Hyperlapse?) but (as a very amateur but keen photographer) is there a way to move the pro settings entirely on to manual in video mode - e.g. when sun sets, the shot actually does become darker rather than the camera adjusting automatically? I am thinking particularly for video...
Very informative...thank you!
Great video!
great tuition vid thanks
Awesome video! Thanks for the tips
Thanks this helps a lot, I'm just experimenting to see how capable my S22 ultra is on videos👍🏼
Id there a way to set the default exposure to minus 1/3 or minus 2/3? What about the over processing, have you noticed it too? The s22+ seems to do better than the ultra in terms of processing.
I know this is late just wanted to say thank you for this video. Helped me tons!
Great video I'm using s21 still very useful, only a few things that don't apply to the 21
So I was wondering. I'll be shooting a video of food on a tripod with studio lights, so camera won't be moving and it will be bright. Do you still recommend filming in Pro FHD 24? I was wondering why I shouldn't use 60 FHD, or maybe the UHD, or even the 8k for that matter? Thank you.
Thanks you are awesome
Useful video. Thanks.
Hello thank you for this video very useful. I have a problem my all photo come out blurry even when u zoom. What are yoyr recommendation. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Excellent video. i'm off now to watch your video on saving battery life on my S22+. I also subscribed.
Hi, what app do you use to have 6x6 icons on your home screen? Thanks
I get a lot of wind noise in the RUclips videos I create with my phone. How can I cut down noise from the wind? Can I cover the mic on the phone with a cloth or something? Thanks for your help.
You da man great video liking expert raw to
Nice content bro, can you please post how to set up video for recording at a concert? that's what I was looking for tonight. Keep up the good videos.
This was a great tutorial although I have S22. I will be watching this video again to focus more👋👋
excellent explanation and very informative
0:42 my s10 had this but it hasnt shown up on my s22? Any suggestions. Seems I don't have the focus enhancer either
thanks for this
helo, i have question in 22:17 you say: here you can draw somethin and you slide the arrows. I had on my s21 and i can not find it on my s22. the middle slide i used for taking screenshots. it was to most comfortable way to do that. Please, can you tell how to activate it? thanx.
I am filming with two Samsung S22+ smartphones and although I calibrate the white balance (VideoMore settings) the tint of the colours in the finished film product varies. How can you configure both cameras for identical-ish colour filming settings?
On the mic, I'm confused(at about 20 min). Front is you talking and rear is if you are interviewing someone for example, right? Or is it the other way around, because front just sounds obvious that it would be the front of the camera, like you are recording someone and rear would be the back of the camera. Can you please elaborate? Thank you so, so much,
Nice video going to start incorporating these tips in my vlogs
Thank you bro🥰
Thank You soon much man!!
I have just got an 22uktra and Your videos really helped me out.
And as far as I can see You are a really handsome guy ;-)
that is what portrait mode is for, it gives you several types styles in your background.
Hi. I still have my s20 and really like it. Can I check, In my video pro mode, i have 9:16, 9:21, 1:1 and Full. For making youtube videos, would you say to record in 9:16 or 9:21 as in this video you say 9:16 is not good for youtube. Thanks
Could you please tell me, what are the best settings for small product photos for an Etsy shop? I never feel the color of the items in my photos is correct. Also, would I use the food mode?
For the object eraser in the editor, you're meant to circle around what you want to erase, not try to color it in lol. It works pretty well in my experience.
Great video thanks. Just wondering how to edit or straighten a horizon?
Edit with the Gallery app
Hi ! I am really trying to understand motion picture. As far as I can tell ...it is impossible to get a good resolution image using it so I'm not sure why you suggest keeping it on...I did a lot of candid photos at a wedding and had it on by mistake, now trying to save as stills to share they saved still ends up being only around 580 kb whereas the average photo when I had it off was 6 or 7 MB...and much better detail.
am I doing something wrong??
Have been using s22ultra for close to 2years and i do not know a lot 9f these features. Thank you.
I can't figure out how to move the shutter button on the screen
excellent, i bougth mine this week and best phone i'vehad for woork, i also lightroom and all the presets , it's one hell of a phone ,but i would still use my canon 1dx etc for my printing images . cheers
When I tried to save1 frame from a motion picture, the colors were totally different. How do I get the saved frame to show the colors displayed on the motion picture?
Where do i find the moon icon you pointed out?
Thanks for the tips & tricks of S 22 ultra . I would like to know how to edit the videos on S 22 ultra please .
Help! I'm photographing paintings on canvas. I keep getting a moire pattern when I upload them anywhere. How can I stop this? Thanks
Wow the Bluetooth video recording is amazing 👏
The selfie camera zooms in because it makes your face look better, in the same way that portait photos are taken in 3x zoom because it makes it look better. In my opionion, and for sure since the last updates, leave focus enhancer on.
Hi Ricky. Great Video. I learned a lot. But, do you know what would really be special? How about a RUclips video on: "How to build a Vlogger Studio around the Galaxy S22 Ultra." That's actually what I'm trying to do. Like thousands of other Podcasters, I'm moving up from doing (265) Podcasts to new RUclips compatible video production. At the same time, many of the major Podcast hosting networks are looking for a way to host Podcasts AND Videos. This is going to be a Huge new market..... and you could be right in front of it.
Thanks again, Greg
Hi, in photo or portrait mode how do you get the saved picture looks exactly as on screen before shoot.
I notice that all picture colours change during the saving process, like the picture is edited behind the scene. For instance I've dark skin complexion but end result is light skin. While taking the picture all colours looks perfect on screen but once I click to view the saved picture it's a pre-edited photo that pops up.
Nb: my setting is on "natural" and I have a S22 ultra
Same
@@napigirlpretigirl If it can help I finally found that in shooting mode whenever you tap on the image, hold to focus and reduce the exposure (make it darker) then take your picture, saved picture will be closer to reality. If you find another trick or right settings please let me know.
Same here... I don't like the color changed
do you know if it is possible to install the google pixel camera app on the s22? or any other recomanded camera app for this phone? i realy dont like the way the photos look sooc with this model. they look to yellow and just realy not to my taste.
thank you!
very useful video.
Good looking Ring there. A bit different from the S&C. :)
Following along with your video but I am not seeing all the settings you are going over in my camera under settings on my S22 ultra. Please help me figure out.
Just got my Galaxy S22 Plus after my Note 8 was presenting far too many problems. Through the years after I got a new phone, or if my wife got a new phone, I'd check out your videos.
As a serious amateur photographer, not a pro, well, the changes from the Note 8 to the S22 plus, are phenomenal. After watching your video I know I'll be using my phone camera a whole lot more than I did with the Note 8. Thank you very much for the well-produced and easily understood tutorial. ( And now back to your "Good Lock App" video. which I've watched once already.) Thanks Tech Guy.
I don't know why I don't have "Auto HDR" menu as well as "picture formats" menu in settings. What do I do so I can have those available in the menu?
I have an s22 plus. I have turned on video stabilisation mode on. I get a shaky motion blur type of thing whenever I slightly move the camera a bit. Any solution?
Does S22 have focus Enhancer. It seems that the all pics i take have that blurry background. Spoils the scenic beauty in pics. I dont see any option to turn it of too. Any suggestions?? The normal pics almost seems like a portait pic.
Merci
when I take a picture on my s22 and I click on the picture taken on bottom right it opens my gallery folders not the picture. how do I change this so I can see the picture taken?
How do I save the video from motion photo? I think something changed I used to be able to do it. Thx
Awsome video..
Hey! I love your green lantern ring dude! I have a red lantern one, we're enemies by default xD
I am wondering how the ultra does with distance like sunsets sunrise and outdoor shots. What are your recommendations ease?
Do you mean zoom scenarios for landscape’s? I’d use 108mp mode (used the s21 U not s22 U) since the dynamic range and colour is good enough and the extra detail allows you to zoom in after the photo is taken and retain more quality
Great video review!
The face settings are for South East Asia users or China Market. Rest of the world see the world "natural", as you mentioned.
I didn't see wide angle or "all the kinda stuff" down there. Maybe next to the thingamjigger? The watchamacallit?
Using the S22 Ultra to shoot video, I notice that when I view them on my pc or premiere pro that there is a black border on the top and bottom. Do you know how to remove that?
hi, i have a problem. i need to use front camera (same model) to record using tiktok camera (because i hate touch up my face), or record using capcut (because there is a teleprompter) then i edit using cap cut, but then when i export the video, the video is not that sharp as the first time i record using tiktok cam or capcut. Can u make a video on how to use front camera with those apps which doesnt affected the quality of the video? 😅
Thanks very informative. Got my s22 as a gift from my brother. But i wantwd the video get get a 100x zoom also😮💨 i usually put on the camera mode and screen record just to get a 100x zoom😂
Before you press a button, point at it with a stylus. That way a beginner can see what button you are pressing. Also, you should mention how to undo your suggestions.
Hi, how can you tell when the camera is on 4K? Great tutorial!😊
good day, bob here my videos i take uploaded on you tube are only comes up small video in the middle of the screen not full screen can you help with that thanks chow.
Hey Rick I just have the s22 what's the best settings for sunset? Everytime I take a picture comes out to orange to red it's not really accurate to what I'm actually seeing.
It's the hardest time of day for a great photo, I would recommend editing after. On the phone, edit, then go to the sun icon, then temperature, then go negative
I can't find any info on things like long exposure modes. Does it have any? I'm desperate to replace my 3 year old P30 Pro but the technology doesn't seem to have advanced.
Go to the pro mode, there you can change the exposure time
Night mode, and night mode video maybe?
I have been wondering the same. I can't seem to find out if it has the same pro settings or not.
I was thinking of getting the Sony Experia Pro 1 I. But it is only on 02.
So it's either that or this. 🤔
I was wondering if there is a way to change the way photos are numbered when I take photos. When I download to my computer there are these large random numbers that are not in order.

OK so I guess I'll point out one of thise 9' advice at 1:30 you just slide all the way in , and slide all the way out. . But come on this a badass phone.... u can't just slide in once And except to not be done. Haha
And I'm thinking yes, we know what's going to happen... go ahead with the long, drawn out description but this guy got straight to the damn point..🤯🤯🤯🤯
I bought a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, does it have a HDR mode for stills, I am not interested in video, this is just for photo stills, I want to see if it has a HDR mode as highlights are blown out in street lights.
Does anyone know whats the homescreen clock widget he's using? It's not any of the default Samsung widget
Google clock
Anyone know if theres a way you have gridlines on rear only
