bro im so happy that oblivion community is still alive
I've been playing it off and on since its initial release and it's still my preferred Elder Scrolls.
We’re still here my friend
I used to count Morrowind the best one, Skyrim taking the second place and Oblivion the worst. Now sometimes I consider Oblivion to be the best... Surely it is the most lovely one
I replay this game once a year. I’m obsessed.
we are waiting for Skyblivion
To whoever reads this message, I wish you receive everything you want and everything you need. I wish you much love, health and success
Random Beggar: Thank you kind stranger 😊
thank you very much brother
Lol when I'm studying, I often listen to Oblivion or Skyrim because it's just childhood for us and a lot of nostalgia, so you instantly feel better I would say
Agreed
Did the same while studying, now doing the same while working :)
if Skyrim is your childhood, you are still a child :)
I first played Oblivion in 2006 after I got out of boot camp. My first roommate in the Army had an Xbox 360 and showed me the game and I fell in love with it immediately. It's still my favorite game and favorite soundtrack of all time.
@@bsdpowa I'm 27. :D Already divorced and shit. But thank you for the compliment. I meant by my childhood my late teens I guess. :D
Despite technically-dated graphics, the visual style of Oblivions natural environments still holds up and is honestly better looking than many games releasing today
Hands down.
hopefully the skyblivion works out so we get an updated Oblivion for free
@@mmfe116 I would be SO happy like I cannot even put it into words
This is still my favourite OST ever. It is a dream of mine to meet Jeremy Soule and tell him how much this music means to me. It is beautiful.
It's gotten me through a lot over the last 18 years.
Second that! My closest one to my heart is Morrowind, but Oblivion and Skyrim is absolutely wonderful too.
It's also one of my favourite pieces of music of all time, but I never want to meet Jeremy tbh.
@@felbecker lol
God damn, this music teleports me back to summer '06.
YES!! 🎉
Back when I was young and dumb and didn't have a care in the world; before the Army corrupted me. I'd be in the field training and thinking how I couldn't wait to play Oblivion when we got back to the barracks. Lol
The sound of my 360 overheating, my shitty TV but the pleasure to play during the warm summer nights... And the discussions with my friend on the game...
This hits me right in the feels. This is a world I want to live and breathe in.
i feel the same way, its really chilling how immersive this game felt
They were truly great games the world building was stellar
What if I tell you it's easy as pie?
@@sanjurokawatabe7067 just accept degrowth and we'll be there in no time
The way I started breaking down just from hearing the tracks again
there isn't a better soundtrack in gaming history. oblivion takes the cake
And the pie.
Not disagreeing, but you might really enjoy the Guild Wars 2 sound track.
but remember, the cake is a lie

30:48 This song always makes me feel so emotional. It brings me back to playing Oblivion in my childhood bedroom on my crappy laptop, just running through the wilderness on that brown horse you get for free.
Haha. Your crappy laptop probably ran better than the 360 version. People forget how long the load times were and how you really only averaged 25 frames per second and were locked to 30.
no matter how much time I spend in this life, skyrim and oblivion always give me the vibe of "returning back home". Maybe it's because I spent so much time wandering arountd within these games since I was a child. It's so incredible when game could give you the "home" feeling whenever you play it
My cat is purring to this and feeling quite "eepy" 👉😴👈
I work at an animal shelter. I play this for the cats. They love it!
Whattt that is incredible😂😂😂
I've been missing my mom and dad so much as of late. They passed away 9 years ago, but it always hurts like it was yesterday. If my father was still alive, he would have loved oblivion. He is a Castlevania and final fantasy kind of guy so this particular kind of music reminds me of him.
Mom would sit next to him and watch him play, or be reading a harlequin novel listening to the music. Big ups to the people who still play oblivion.
First Elder Scrolls game I ever played, still my favourite. I didn't play it for ages because a friend in high school told me he didn't think it would "be my kind of game". We're not friends anymore.
Avoid judging 'friends' and their 'respected' opinions at all costs. Been there. In fact, nobody knows yourself and your sphere of interests better than you.
Also my first ES game. Didn't play it till 2013, I somehow ended up with a disc for it, didn't know what kind of game it even was (I'm a Civ/Paradox guy mostly), just popped the disc in my PC one night when I was bored...and spent nearly every waking free hour for the next month utterly obsessed with it! I loved it so much I didn't even go get Skyrim until 2015, was still rocking ESIV
@@crestfallenknight7983that is good advice. I've had friend's opinions ruin my experience on things before. Why it happened the other day regarding home theaters. I'm so burnt out on research and opinions regarding theater equipment that I no longer care. Lol what a shitty thing an opinion can be.
This has to be the most beautiful soundtrack ever
It in fact is the most beautiful soundtrack ever.
it is. And moreover, I never get tired of it. And i listen to it almost every day.
The thousands of hours I spent living in this world... the memories.
I often listen to this music to calm down when I'm feeling anxious. I have so many beautiful memories of this game. Still my favourite Elder Scrolls game. 😊
I will replay it one day.
I absolutely love that you implemented the aleyeid well sound effects! 45:00
These comments are a beacon of hope. Thank you, everyone!
I am at peace thank you. Oblivion is such a fun game that you can play at any pace
Seven seconds in...FINE I WILL START ANOTHER OBLIVION PLAY THROUGH
I've never played Oblivion. Definitely on my bucket list :)
Don't save it for the bucket list. Get in there ASAP
Best TES game imo! Worth a 100 playthroughs!
I envy you for the first time experience you're gna have. You'll constantly switch back amd forth from Oblivion and Skyrim playthroughs twice every year and never really stop playing 😁
PLAY IT
@@PutYoRhymeOn On a Skyrim playthrough myself right now. I need to get Oblivion working again, I miss that one... Also Let's not forget how awesome Morrowind was too!
I just feel at home with this. I can listen to this anywhere and feel like I belong. I can listen to this while writing and not feel like my immersion is being ruined, which is rare for any music
Damn man, right in the feels HARD, this takes me right back so many great nostalgic memories when i was younger... i played this game non stop when it was first released (im now 33) i basically played this game every day, even on warm summer nights with the cool air flowing in, done every single quest even the Shivering isles as if i was actually there myself, this music makes me feel sad that these times are gone, but i wouldn't change it for the world.
I haven't played this game in over 16 years and it's still my favorite.
If you see this, please send positive vibes my way. I’ve been struggling with health issues for years and could use your prayers.
Sending all the positive vibes and prayers 🩶 Hope you get to feeling better!!
Hope you're able to eat well and get plenty of sleep and feel better soon. Take care.
Trying my hand at a little positivity hear. *Ahem.* Alright, here goes:
May your days be long-lasting.
May your children and your children's children live in a generation of peace.
May your legacy be one of honor, righteousness, and virtue.
May your pain fade away like winter into spring.
May your hands reach out to your dreams.
May you step outside once again and feel nature's embrace.
May you come back and return to Cyrodiil with all of us.
I really freakin' hope you get better sir.

My go to comfort music. ❤️
The forests in Oblivion seemed so much better and more alive than in Skyrim. Never enough trees or grass in the vanilla game.
I mean it could be argued that due to Skyrim's harsh climate not as much vegetation would grow compared to the more temperate Cyrodiil 🤓
@@EverythingPSPOfficial Nordic countries has more forests than a countries with temperate climate. Finland is almost completely covered by forests.
Skyrim is barren tundra and snow, its not supposed to be verdant.

Thank you, this is so beautiful! It is a restful soujourn to a place of magic and wonder. I think Oblivion and Skyrim will be part of my life forever, due in no small part to the exquisite soundtracks.
This OST never fails to take me back to my middle and high school days.
I remember playing this for the first time when I was 10, I miss the simple times, also fighting goblins was so much fun.
The nostalgia is real 😭
I listen to Oblivion score every day. A masterpiece.
Skyrim score is also excellent.
Loved my childhood memories! ❤👏🥰
Oblivion was my first TES game. I dislike being blinded by nostalgia, but Oblivion and especially the OST (that I listen to almost everyday at work), is such a cozy, familiar, pleasant, and magical game.
thank you thank you thank you thousand times for making this music video; I'm so grateful for your existence, I'm thankful for all the existence; I'm thankful for existing for every moment of time.. thank you fellow soul..
There really is something about a good game soundtrack. Whenever I think about my favorite games, I always think about the soundtrack. Oblivion is one of my all time favorite games and has had a huge influence on my life. It inspired me to get into hiking and just enjoy nature. I always listen to this soundtrack every time I hike.
Summer is finally here, I'm so looking forward to a new Elder Scroll release :) nice job with the ambience!
New Elder Scrolls release? Huh?
Omg the opening 60 seconds floored me T^T
I barely played Oblivion, a little more Skyrim, but I realized during the period of confinement how important this OST was to me. I'm a musician, and I've been playing music for 20 years, but it was during this period that I discovered a new level of sensitivity towards music, and this OST was the catalyzer. Since then, this OST is my go-to work ambiance, or meditative breaks.
These videos are a breath of fresh air. Keep up the fantastic work!
best game soundtrack ever and it's not even a close contest
Ocarina of time and the medal of honor and battlefield one come close but i share the same feeling sometimes
@@alextrainor2552 I hear ya. For me, lots of them have moving and memorable soundtracks, but nothing comes close to the emotionally charged response my brain gets when I hear Jeremy's Oblivion pieces. It almost gets stronger with time.

Love that view ! 🤩 Thank you again.
Awesome view
Why did I have to click on this? Nostalgia is taking over now

I'm not a fan of The Elder Scrolls games, it's just not my type of gameplay. But man, the soundtracks of Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim are just so awesome! Great music for study and work.
Oblivion and Morrowind had the best sound tracks of all time in video games in my opinion. Skyrim is great too, but I have so much more nostalgia for the older elder scrolls games.
So timeless and beautiful...
Agreed! I loved Morrowind and Oblivion... I am on another playthrough of Skyrim but kinda missing these other 2 at the moment. I also got to play a bit of Daggerfall though the controls were very difficult in that one no surprise for the time it came out.
The elder elder scrolls games, if you will.
This is how Heaven looks and sounds like ❤
While I think Skyrim is superior in countless aspects, compared to Oblivion, it can't fulfill the calmness feeling Oblivion causes.
I still remember being blown away by how beautiful the scenery in this game looked when it was new. In stark contrast to the weird play-do looking npcs.
Oblivion my love.
I played Skyrim first and bought Oblivion later on. I am not ashamed to say that I love Oblivion much more than Skyrim. Skyrim is just so cold and empty. And the npcs are just as cold as the land. It's Oblivion forever for me!
Don't be ashamed. Oblivion is so immersive! Definitely a timeless classic 😊

I hope they make an Oblivion remaster (& Morrowind too). I can always hop back into it & Skyrim.
nostalgia pureee
There are tracks from Scarim too.
I absolutne love this game
ES:IV Oblivion was my first Elder Scrolls game I ever played, has a special place in my heart, tho I will say not complaining just pointing out, the track at 10:30 is not from Oblivion its from Skyrim, so should we just say Music of Elder Scrolls.
Oh this video caught some engagement eh, look at all those weary travelers just stopping to rest in the shadow of an Ayleid ruin hiding in one of those forests.... What happens next you can only imagine :) 👻

Do you Guys know the Big Mod Nehrim ? Made from the Oblivion engine ? That´s a awesome Mod .. try it out
How could would it be to just transport to this universe?
And where are those magical RPG games like Oblivion? Oblivion really nailed it in it's times. Those beatiful adventures, with great soundtrack, without inserting disgusting politics into a game... The sense of pure immersion into world, without costant "schooling" on "the message". Really guys, fck modern gaming, fck sweetbaby inc and the cancer that corrupts everything around. Sad times
Whos here in 2024 listening to music from a past master piece, because today's gaming has lost it's spirit.
Забавно, но Oblivion тоже был сломанным, но по-другому. По доброму, по хорошему.
