Robin saying Zoro is "unlovable" gives the same energy as her refusing to "do the docking" on Thriller Bark because "it'll hurt her human pride" and I absolutely love it! Every StrawHat has such a unique personality that no matter what whacky timeline they're in, they're still the crew we all know and love!
I think my favorite one is either the Cross Epoch one because it's a great cross-over, Or the one where all the crew are middle aged women, Because Usopp as a nervous mother that's late on rent sounds hilarious to me. lol

@@gojumjilen1396 Not liking Robin, considering how important she is to the plot is kinda wild, ngl. But to each their own! I personally love all the StrawHats, Each for their own reasons! I think that Robin's dark sense of humor can sometimes be a refreshing change, different from Luffy's physical humor or Brook's "skull jokes". It shows that One Piece can have all types of comedy/humor and still be amazing!
Maybe instead of choosing not to like her, Choose to like her the least? But that's just my opinion/advice. Thanks for commenting!

Usopp technically is the only member who was a “captain” prior to joining the crew, so he definitely has conquerers haki. Not counting jinbe because he was a member of the sun pirates before becoming a captain
So Brook being a Captain of an Armada of a yet to be named kingdom before he joined the Rumba Pirates was a lie.

Also, just wanted this to highlight how usopp tends to have the same charismatic behavior that luffy displays that motivates people to follow him. Buggy is another character like this and could possibly have CoC

Hey, Liam I was hoping that one day you would talk about One Piece school. I just recently found out about this amazing spin off manga. I’m not really much of a One Piece manga reader but since I started watching your videos that definitely changed and I’m currently reading Egghead Island Arc and it’s amazing!

Some of these alternate versions of Luffy were part of a contest Toei did during the Enies Lobby arc. That along with the recap episodes about how each Straw Hat joined right before Robin's "I want to live"- moment makes Enies Lobby the most filler heavy arc I've seen in the One Piece anime. Not even Dressrosa was that filler heavy.
The alternate universe really show the strength of character One piece characters have. You can put them into so many types of situations and their core character still shines through.
Hey Liam, I’ve been watching your videos for a few years but never seem to catch you upload in time for a chance for my comments to reach you. Just wanted to share a fun little one piece story, I’ve just come home from a holiday in France, whilst in a queue at a certain theme park I saw a man wearing a one piece t-shirt. I showed him my one piece wallet. He didn’t speak English, I didn’t speak French. He smiled and said Gear 5. We high fived.

If live action luffy and hungry days luffy count even though they were largely written by people other than oda, do the characters from “koisuru, one piece” count as well? Maybe not since they’re a few too many steps removed
Honestly with the power of hindsight it's shockingly easy to look at literally all of Luffy's more comedic shenanigans and see the Toon Force within leaking out, especially when he drank milk to fix his tooth while hiding out inside Capone Bege's castle

That's just Brook's own Devil Fruit using spiritual energy to bend reality a little. After all, he's also shown nosebleeding, crying, and he has confirmed that he can defecate, which are all things that skeletons don't exactly do.

There are always more Luffy's. My favorite of which is the Dragon Ball x One Piece Manga, Cross Epoch.
So the canon is all these spinoff multiverses are just versions of versions that Ussop's lies he is telling everyone at the bar.. XD
Its obvious because Usopp seem to always be the main character in all of them!
Fun fact: the word "epoch" is pronounced the same as "epic." Unless you're playing Last Epoch because despite the game being about time travel the devs didn't know the pronunciation at launch and have since stuck with the incorrect one "for flavor" as they claim.
I think in all the ones where Usopp plays a prominent role it might he a story that he is telling.
I feel like all of the tertiary story's are the story's that usopp tells chopper before he goes to sleep at night and chopper just imagines all the characters as straw hat members cause that's what's familiar to him😅 and now this is my personal head Canon "change my mind" 😂
You missed 1 prime world alternate Luffy. Which is Luffy from Party manga spinoff where it's mainly the same Luffy but in a retelling of past popular arcs with twists to make it more comedic. Like saving fake Robin instead of the real one in Enies Lobby 2.0. It's basically a fanfiction told by Usopp and Chopper.
I am fairly certain that most of those alternate universes are really The Strawhats playing pretend while sailing from one island to the other. Which is why Usopp and Chopper tends to have such prominent roles, because alongside Luffy, they are the ones who would spend their time in this way, playing out imaginary stories, and Usopp is of course the best storyteller of the crew.

This was a fun video, I wonder what other universes will Oda make next, I would like there to be a “shattered glass” universe, where all of the good characters are bad, and all of the bad characters are good, but I feel that Oda won’t do that until the prime story is over, do you think a universe like that would be fun?

I really wish that they have either continued or animated the rest of the Mugiwara Theater comics, but also did you know their are a few more like the Movies / Specials/ OVAs which are slightly off from the Prime universe along with other manga based universes like One Piece Party & Shokugeki no Sanji
If you're going to include Netflix Luffy in your multiverse list then might as well include the One Piece movies and video game universes too.

All of these mutiverse possibilities feel like games of imagination that everyone gets into while sailing between islands. Typically lead by Usopp as the story teller which would explain why he always seems to have a prominant roll. They are games everyone is playing while sailing around
I'd like to see an alternate timeline where Luffy was the one that died at Marineford and Ace survived and he did go on to become King of the Pirates.

Why are the Hungry Days One Piece commercials actually so good. I just watched them and it went through Cape Town, Alabasta, Arlong Park and Marineford with actually good story telling.
