- This week, we're making front porch Welcome signs for the 4th of July! We didn't just make one of them, we made three! We continued our theme of showing you ideas using each of our tools, Cricut, X-Carve and Glowforge. We created our own .SVG and letters and have made the .SVG file and the letters available in our store in case you'd like to Do It, Build It, Make It with us!

Great job! Love the look on Garrett’s face when the paint went everywhere😂. I just learned a new trick with the stencils, if you paint over the stencil with your base coat it will not blood, so if you don’t have mod podge give this a try. Glad I'm not the only one that does the "Step 1"..... I also find myself saying "Do you like to do it, build it or make it? Well greeeaaattt!" every time I begin a project.
I love that your channel is unique in what you do. There are SO many channels out there that make stuff out of Dollar Tree items with nothing but a glue gun and scissors and I like them too. But I love that you guys are middle of the road (Not Jimmy Diresta, but not glue and scissors) and ALWAYS offer suggestions on how things can be done w/out a saw. Making three different options is so great and must take a lot of time and effort. Keep up the good work!

Really like the sign tips, had made a few before discovering your show and if there was anything a person could do 'wrong' I pretty much did on those 2! The paint fiasco looks like something I've done before... I'm always amazed that you guys shirts aren't a big mess after all your painting...I've had to designate a shirt and pants just for painting since I can't stay clean when painting, ever! Your laughs about it all are the best... always make my day! Love the sign behind you this week LOL Our household loves Lowes the best too!

The 2nd one was my favorite and one I can make using stencils. I laughed when Garrett spilled his paint because I just did the same thing while making a diy but luckily it was only a 2oz bottle. Love you guys❤️

I loved the 3rd one!!!! I’ve wanted a glow forge forever. I use my cricut air 2. Also, 1x6x10 board $11.00 at Lowe’s is what I used for mine. However, the picket fence boards are so cute!!! Great job y’all. ❤️

Oh I love all three but I must say the cricut sign is my favorite because of the colors and layout. When the paint spilled I yelled OH NO but then thought Oh that's OK, its the back... but then you didn't flip it over!! All good in the end!

All of your signs are very beautiful. I laughed the whole time. The first sign (GOD BLESS AMERICA) was stencil upside down on the boards but it still came out great 👍

I love all the signs! I have a cricut so I might seem bias by saying I like that one is best, but truly the 4th of July is the best one. I think the mistake was putting the 12" boards on the front of the sign instead of the back lol.

Oh, tell Garrett to put a quarter inch of red paint around his blue star and it’ll be fine...people really wouldn’t even be able to tell something was if he hadn’t said something was off...

Ive seen crafters paint the base coat over your stencil and then paint your stencil color. That should also help with paint bleed.

Yeah! It could definitely be printed as a stencil! It wouldn’t be raised but it would still look great. If you make one tag ya we’d LOVE to aee

Some stores will but it depends! and I’m not sure what you mean by the silhouette
I'm new to your channel and I was wondering if you have a video telling more about the machines you use to cut letters from MDF and all the equipment and tools you use and where you buy them also prices. ( wood size and the pocket cutter etc) I'm new to wood working and I really want to learn more. Y'all make it a lot of fun.
