Their music was my favourite part of both Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor. Would be so badass to see them live
there better be songs in the third game too (new and old) it'd be a massive misstep by respawn if there're not.
There is no way you're going to mistake them from anybody else. They have a lot of really cool songs that I enjoy.
I was in this crowd. It was the best thing I saw all weekend.
I was at their rescheduled Southampton gig the night before and I was totally blown away by them. I love Mongolia and have spent a month their so the fact that they sing in Mongolian makes my little heart flutter. It's an absolutely beautiful language and I find it so entrancing to listen to that I don't need to know what they're singing about. The Mongols are known as the people of the song and some of my happiest memories of my time their are of Mongol's singing, like I say it's a beautiful language that needs no translation.
I saw them in a tiny venue in Seattle last year. UNBELIEVABLE. So glad to see they are getting world famous. Fantastic sound.
How did the crowd react? Were they into it, or like, meh? HU are these guys???
@@jekku4688 Crowd was totally into them. More and more with each song, too. By the end, everyone was chanting "Hu! Hu! Hu!" of course. :) Good times!

The main band members: Gala / Lead Throat Singer and Morin Khuur- "the cello like thing", Enkush / Lead Morin Khuur and Throat Singer, Jaya / Jaw Harp, Tsuur, Flute, and Throat Singer, Temka / Tovshuur- guitar like instrument, Ono / percussion, tumur hhuur- jaw harp, backing vocals, Jamba / - guitars, backing vocals, Davaa/ bass, backing vocals, Odko / drums.
Temka, Ono and I think also Jamba also do backing vocals...
Gala plays the blue Morin Khurr and Enkush plays the red Morin Khurr.
This music makes me want to crush my enemies, see them driven before me and hear the lamentation of their women

The Great Chinngis Khan is one of my favorites but I know quite a lot about it and his importance as the founder of Mongolia so I think it probably has more to do with my respect for his achievements than the actual song.

In the UK at least, you can get a licence to "play live or record music" from PPL PRS. I am sure the US will have similar.
Also, "Eseerin Vasahina" is probably Walt Disney (knowing them they'll own everything and licence it to EA)
@@znxsterOh interesting, hadn't heard of that. Glad they did whatever with contracts cuz I pretty much never expected to hear one of their Star Wars songs live, ( I discovered them playing Jedi: Fallen Order)

For those not familiar with The HU's music, Black Thunder on their second album Rumble Of Thunder is the Mongolian version of Sugaan Essena from the first Star Wars game.

This is from the second Star Wars game as they created songs for both games. The song title is in the title of this video. There is no other version at present. If you know Sugaan Essena from the first game, the Mongolian version of that is called Black Thunder and is on their second album Rumble of Thunder.

@@ed_10_42Actually it's not, it's just a different region. Tuva is literally on the Russian side of Mongolia's Northern border. Also given that Mongolia was only unified +-800 years ago and before then was made up of many different tribes, including Tatars who are now considered Russian, it's not that hard to think that their would be cross cultural pollination. Before I went to Mongolia I thought khoomie was a solely Tuvan thing and if you search for 'Mongolian throat singing ' Google spits out 'Tuvan throat singing ' so the OP wasn't entirely wrong....you on the other hand should have taken Abraham Lincoln's advice 'it is better to stay silent and be thought a fool that speak and remove all doubt.'

Fun fact they aren't singing mongolian, they are singing a made up song with a made up language for star wars!
Maybe this is one of the dialects or parent dialect or language of Ewokese, since Ewok language was based in Oirat-Kalmyk dialect of Mongolian language

No, it doesn't translate as the language they use in the songs for the Star Wars games is one The HU created especially for that purpose. I believe it is based on an ancient language.
From what I heard, the song is supposed to be in Huttese.
When I heard this in Jedi survivor, it sounded familiar to throat singing. Before this, I didn't realize that it actually is
