Luke's theme is what eventually just became the main theme, the same way that Obi Wan's theme became the Force theme. It was a process that happened over the original trilogy and especially the prequels, and it leaves both characters without themes of their own anymore. It happened especially early for Obi Wan since Lucas wanted the song to play in the binary sunset scene, despite Obi Wan not being part of the scene.

Kenobi..One of the best characters of all time who has persiveared through alot..he has his master who was like a father to him die infront of him..he watched the love of his life die..he Had his best friend cody turn on him..he watched as his brother,anakin Betray Him.. and Yet he still wanted to help free the Galaxy from the empire.
I think Obi Wans greatest power really is that everyone underestimates him. But at the end of the day he not only beat Darth Maul, he also survived Order 66 and beat Darth Vader several times over right under Palpatines nose. During his usurping time Palpatine was deceived by Yoda as the greatest Jedi threat to his scheme, when in reality it was Obi-Wan. And then people doubt that Anakin would not have fallen under Qui-Gons watch. The dude literally trained one the most incorruptible Jedi ever.
This theme is my go-to for when I’m feeling stressed or anxious. It calms my mind and heart. There’s a certain peace to be found within the philosophy of the Force, and this music reminds me of those teachings. The Force will be with us, always.

Palpatine at least kind of works for ep 9 because he is such an important character for the plot, but damn it's still a mess.
She couldn’t be a Kenobi for two main reasons 1) he exiled in tatooine by himself for all those years and 2) in the animated clone wars series his one love dies and we know nothing happened between the two of them because he says if she said he loved her he would’ve left the Jedi to be with her
