    • @pololupeople
      @pololupeople  3 года назад

      I am not sure what specifically you are proposing, so it is difficult to comment on how it would work. Our reflectance sensors should be responsive enough to work at high speeds, so more significant than changing sensors is optimizing your robot geometry and control algorithm. If you need help with your robot, you might try posting to our forum: forum.pololu.com/

    • @pololupeople
      @pololupeople  6 лет назад +1

      The majority of the robots used our micro metal gearmotors, which vary in gear ratios and motor types. You can find a complete table listing all the options on our Micro Metal Gearmotors' category page: www.pololu.com/category/60/micro-metal-gearmotors. You can also find more information about some of the robots featured in the video in the blog post we link to in this video's description section.

    How can I speed up my line follower motor..???

    • @pololupeople
      @pololupeople  5 лет назад +1

      There are many factors that can affect the speed of a line following robot and which of those are reasonable or convenient to adjust depend on the specifics of your robot. If you post more detailed information about your line follower (e.g. what motors you are using, how you are supplying power, diameter of your wheels, etc.) on our forum, we can help you there: forum.pololu.com/

      We make our tracks out of 4x8ft sheets of white hardboard (sometimes labeled as Thrifty White tile board or panel board) that you can find at most big box hardware stores like Home Depot and Lowe's.

    • @pololupeople
      @pololupeople  7 лет назад +1

      None of the line following code for the robots in the competition that used Arduinos is available. However, to get started on your own program you might consider reviewing the line following example for our Zumo 32U4 Robot, which has the same microcontroller as the Arduino Leonardo. The example line following sketch is called LineFollower.ino, and it is a part of the Zumo 32U4 Arduino library:
      github.com/pololu/zumo-32u4-arduino-library
      If you have specific questions about that code, please post to our forum:

      @@magarajanamagarajanarunach6661 These line followers all use different motors, though most of them are probably using some version of our Micro Metal Gearmotors. For a specific example, Ben's robot, Mostly Red Racer, uses the medium power 30:1 gearmotos with 70mm wheels and is powered at 9V. (The 9V is through a regulator, not from a 9V battery, which wouldn't be a good choice for a robot because of its small current capacity). Here are the motors and wheels:
