An dont forget to let people know about adding soda an 10 10 10 an when to do so, also about trim out, an training. Muscadines can be trimmed thru out the year for training, but you want complete trim done when it's dormant

Awesome work, thank you for the inspiration. I just have one critique, I heard something else not "Last frost date". I had to rewind and listen to it again.

You're going to need a ladder to pick the fruit.

Okay, so awesome to find another gardener in the South. I'm in Mississippi (originally from Utah) so I am still trying to figure out the soil down here. I'm technically zone 8a, however we had a super cold winter this year, as you probably know. My question is about your grass ;) what grass do you have, it looks beautiful and what do you recommend for clay soils? And, what amendments do you use to help it look so great?

Hi Audra 👋 Welcome to the South! I have Tall Fescue for my grass. The most common grass seed used is a warm season Bermuda and a cold season Fescue. Although the Fescue goes dormant during the hottest part of our summers, I've found it to look the best during the fall, winter, and spring. As far as amending the soil when planting plants, I always used pine bark soil conditioner. I don't amend when overseeding grass seed, just aerate the soil prior to seeding. Hope this helps 😁

GREAT VIDEO! If I planted my grapevine plant like you did, but I didn’t trim for the main stem, can I trim now that it’s so late in season? Thank you

Do you keep cutting it back during the growing season?

How do you keep the birds from eating the seeds? Birds got mine and so I didn't get any grapes.

I am thinking about putting up a pergola. So far I have not found and grapes native to Colorado, but I'm sure I can find cold hardy grapes with a little research.

Can you root the vines you cut to get more plants? Also wondering what type of grape you recommend for the Seattle area?

Our plants will need about a year to get established before rooting. Are you zone 8a?
