Video responce is so cool! Hey all Norwegian learners!
The language I'm teaching is not Bokmål nor Nynorsk. It's an east dialect and I don't think you will have much problem with bokmål after this. :) And everyone will understand this.
I am Norwegian, from Norway. Born and raised. I live in Oslo, with my husband and son.

Jeg elsker brød og Norge. Jeg er (learning) Norwegian.
I don’t know the word for learning.
@@BlockMasterT lærer . Jeg lærer Norsk ! 😉

*It sounds like I'm watching an episode of Skam and I absolutely love it. What a beautiful language.*
That's actually a very pretty language. I'd never heard it spoken before.
Thank you for sharing.
Just play sims
They aren't wrong when they say that to speak Norwegian, one sounds as though they are singing. So much rythym to the language: and to think that this is how all of my ancestors spoke.
I'll comprehensively learn it someday!
@@FC-ku4ez not really cute, more like really happy and positive.
Nope
Same!
Some of the vowels do sound kind of different when they speak English, kind of long and dragged out
Not excactly the Western, it might sound more hard
The cadence and the sing-songy lilt--I hear the same thing in people from Minnesota, Wisconsin, an Upper Michigan, yah?
When you guys talk really fast, it almost sounds like english, not all tho.
But I can understand some of it, and it matches with the subtitles too. Woa. I'm only starting to learn this language (it's hard) cause I fell in love with Norway after visiting it this past May! Love Norway and its language.
Haaziq Razaali Im glad you can pay a bit of attention! :) I have added new subtitles today! :)
Haaziq Razaali Good luck with your learning! )
Gambiteer Thank you!! :)
Good luck with your learning :)
I am a very beginer in norwegian and i think they speak so rapidly that i dont understand anything :/ I Hope i will understand something one day 😅
This language is so beautiful, I HAVE to learn it. The pronunciation is difficult for a brazilian but I'll do my best, I really loved it.
How have you done? I'm beginning to learn it, though I wonder if it's worth doing, but it sounds so nice
@@Zaory6734 to he honest it's been a while since I study or practice. But take my advice, every language it's worth, there's nothing more worthful than learning a language
I've added subtitles to this old video! It's not perfect, but it's easier to pay attention now! Do you find this useful?
Excellent! Yes, very helpful. This vid was one of my favorites because you guys gave a sense of how a native Norwegian conversation sounds (and in my opinion, sounds pretty cool). Tusen takk!
Good Good! I Will see if I can make more videos like this :)
It's a bit easier with subtitles and more useful than without them, like in the former video. Maybe u can add subtitles here, as well?
This kind of videos, conversations and your short stories, are the most useful learning tool I've found on youtube. Congratulations, u're great!
Maybe only if u can speak a little slower, but not too slow nor as fast as here..? And after that u can repeat the story as it sounds in normal/usual speed. With both norwegian and english subtitles, of course :)
Thank you
du er så søtt :)
Its a bit difficult for a beginner student! Anyway, you gals rock! Very nice video!
The intonation is amazing and adds to the clarity of the language.
I would love more conversation videos! They are do helpful! Thanks for all your work :)
It's amazing how Scandinavians speak English so well.
It's so melodic. I like it that the long vowels are *really* long. It makes the language sound so nice.
A few months ago, I started learning Norwegian on Duolingo. Many people say it’s a bad app but after listening to this, I realize the app is actually very good! I just started so I didn’t understand everything you said but I understood simple words like så, barna, ha/har, god, etc. it’s not much but it was enough for me to know how good Duolingo is.
Duolingo isn't bad at all! It might not work for some but for quite alot of people (including me and you) it can help so much, I have also been learning Norwegian on Duolingo, and even though it does work, I also watch Norwegian movies and stuff to try and make my learning process more 'complete' you might wanna try it too if you aren't already doing it ahah, I wish you good luck on your journey to learn Norwegian :D
I’ve got relatives in both Norway and Sweden and have to say I’m fascinated by your history, culture and language- especially as it relates to Britain. I actually find myself wishing I could speak the Scandinavian languages!
Had a hard time keeping up with that, but I'm not a Norwegian speaker so that's a given! You and Lindy are beautiful. Thank you for the videos!
Translation of below:
I remember two years ago, when I started to learn Norwegian, and watched this video. I thought that I would never understand Norwegian because you talked so fast, but now I do understand! :D The first thing I started with was Crienexcy's videos! So, people. Never give up and you will succeed!
Thanks Crienexcy!
Makes me miss living in norway. I was born in oslo but sadly moved when i was around 15..english was a pain to learn.
i love how the tone often flies up at the end of each sentence in this language it's so cute
These girls stinnnkkkk
The one on the left sounds like she has an Indian accent :O
hi Karin!
I LOVED this video! Norwegian is such a beautiful language! I loved loved LOVED listening to it! It was amazing! Norwegian is musical! I'm listening to the Norwegian conversation over and over! Thanks for the translation too! I feel like by listening to it over and over I'm getting a feeling for the language, and I can hear the individual words! Do more like this!! Maybe combine vocabulary lessons with conversation videos?? AMAZING!! You ROCK ! 5 stars!
I knew it! you are kindergarden teachers! the gentleness, the sweetness, and your educational attitude.
Thank you so much! I'm going to start learning Norwegian, and this was very helpful
There is a tone at the end of every sentence when a norwegian speaks.I noticed this a lot in many TV programmes and I love this.
yeah Norway and Finnish, both have like tone when they are speaking
Hvorfor ser jeg på dette???
It is like poem in my ears.
I love your language.
One of the easy language I learn when I was 16.
It's feels good to annoy tourists!
How did you learn Norwegian?
surely annoying and rude tourists?
Jeg elsker THAT...haha trying to speak Norwegian lol
rasem1977 God norsk
NOTE: am Norwegians
This was back from 2009! This is pretty hard.
Thank you so much for this video!
Great! it's very special to listen to native speaking eveyday conversations
They sound really happy for some reason when speaking Norwegian xD
When they’re speaking Norwegian the tone of the words is kinda high when they end a sentence I don’t know how to explain it xD🤷🏼♀️
Synes det du driver med her er helt fantastisk. Jeg har titta på filmene dine fra begynnelsen av , og titter på dem fortsatt from time to time :)
Norwegian is such a sweet language! thanks for posting this video :-) Tack!
That was very interesting and fun. I am of Norwegian descent and will likely never be able to go to Norway, so this was a pure delight. Thank you.
Thanks to you both for making this video !
when she said: "I got a suggestion from a WATCHER" it cracked me up :D
Awesome idea it's very helpful:) takk!
Hello from 2020. Background is perfect :D
Ohh man it almost sounds like you're speaking backwards hahah really neat
I have Norwegian heritage and I really would like to see Norway! It's in the blood!
You ladies are super cute. I love how committed you guys are even though your reading script.
They speak English with almost an American accent. I loved the laughter at the end though. I couldn't help but laugh too. 😂
You and you're friend always make me laugh when she does a video with you! Hahahaha! You two are awesome! :D
Dere er fantastiske lærerene! Takk
Flott video.
Det var veldig nyttig for meg å forstå riktig uttale.
Dessverre er det umulig å finne noen som snakker norsk i mitt land (Israel).
Tusen takk!
This was great thank you guys
I love the sound of Norwegian and I started learning it
I loved listening to this it reminded me so much of my grandfather 😂😂
I really enjoy listening to the language when it is spoken....it is kind of what inspired me to want to learn it. Mesmerizing for someone like me who cannot speak it lol
Gott, this sounds drop down wahnsinnig! I love your language girls!
I love listening to other languages, it always sounds almost musical to me, I came for research for a book, I like to know how things sound when I bring my english speaking characters into a non-english speaking country.
It's so musical...I love it 😀
This is awesome. Thanks for making this video. Jeg liker dette. I am trying to learn norsk.
Your channel is OOOOOOLLLLDDDDD!

so will you pls do that
I can give you some body help!!
@@miamla6894 yep
I know what you did there
Whaatttt.. this is a gem!
It’s crazy how pretty this language is. It reminds me a lot of French in the accent and English because of the pronunciation! I’d love to learn this language.
that's sooooooooooooo awesome, i've always wanted to learn the language, it seems soooo amazing to learn it :D
Norwegian sounds so awesome to me. The grammar is easy and writing's not so tough either. It's quite tricky tough for a learner like myself to master the pronunciation.
great girls!!!! you gave me a funny way to learn norwegian, thanks!!!!!
What a lovely couple of happy girls...very nice to see!👍👍👍🇧🇻🇧🇻🇧🇻
jeg snakke bare litt norsk og jeg like det video og det er bra. Tusen takk. Og jeg venter neste ;)
it feels awesome seeing people in conversation in Norwegian! It feels so polite! do you think it could be a good idea to have an online chat of a group of learners. Maybe once a week on Skype for an hour or so.. not a big group may 5-6, so that it gives a chance for everyone to speak enough during that time.. ask questions.. make notes..
Wonderful to hear it!
It's a pleasant sound, like a kind of bird song.
In Norway we have english as an obligatory language to learn in school, just to make sure our society can work :3
In a week, we use regularily 2-4 hours to learn english.
Thats why we norwegian also know english. We also have to choose a language from 8th class, which is usually : French, german, spanis, norwegian for extra specialization and english.
I’m trying to learn Norwegian, I understood this a little bit! I am proud
someone said norwegian is like an english audio played on reverse and now I'll never unheard it
Hahaha this video cracks me up so much !! :)
oh yeh dear now i found it thank you so so much for your great job you really helpt me to learn this amazing language i loved it.. there is just a little thing please please do for us a favore and make a video for birthday song.. (hurra for deg) and thank you
watching it at 0.25 speed to actually hear words
very good! Thanks
The blooper section is so funny!!! XD
you and your friend amazing. but when u spoke last norwegian i got lost.
any way you help too much
takk for denne fint video. ha en fin dag
Det var veldig morsomt. Du er stor Karin!!! :D
hehe, thank you!
Even tho i don't understand it i tried to learn it multiple times. Im in love with Norwegian and i don't know why.
you both looks like angels :D. and yes i think the norwegian had the same sound at the end of the words( NOT ALL THE WORDS) in the sweden language xD
Thanx for the vid Karin ^^
Thank You For sharing this Video
i watched ragnarok on netflix and i really loved the language so here i am searching for Norwegian videos.
Norwegian such a rhythmic, cheery language
OMG!!! This is so nice! Norwegian is so beautiful. This was even nicer then what I hear on NRK radio.
Two beautiful Norwegian girls talking... :D
Takk Crienexcy!
Thank you! Norwegian is a beautiful language!
You girls are so fun. Very nice. I wish I knew norwegian.
On a recent bus trip had 2 women behind me talking non-stop. I was pretty sure the language was Norwegian, but now I'm positive. They were also classic Nordic looking. The young women were blond and beautiful, just like the two of you. I didn't understand a single word. Was very easy to just doze off to the sound of their banter. :-)
Nei det er for mye for folk å følge med på på en gang :P
Nice jobb! Dere gjorde en kjempejobb jeg elsker norsk! (og Norge)
Veldig bra ja dette har vært veldig gøyt
Norwegian language sounds nice :))
Cool :) The bloopers part too :) But I am afraid it does not help too much that I learned Norwegian since it's too rapid for me to understand, so I could understand only some words. Sure, English helped then, but I would have been happier if I could understand the Norwegian version without help too :) Thanks for the video, anyway! :) And please keep on posting new ones on the Norwegian language & Norway! Thanks!
nice talking, LIKE ;)
it sounds so happy
There's nothing more beautiful than a conversation between two Norwegian women.
Wow I didn't know Frozen was that old. 2009! Anyways love your video, it's like Elsa speaking her native language.
Remember the norwegians and danes invaded england a couple of times so the english language actually engulfed alot of norwegian /danish words thats why you have simularities
Technically they both come from the same Old Germanic root..and would have many similar words even if they hadn't have come over and invaded here.
seems pretty easy compared to the other languages i speak.i guess it's time to learn norwegian ^^ nice video
Jeg forelsket i deg..really cute..btw beautiful language..greetings from Belgrade
