Great video of adding structures to the layout. Those buildings work perfect and the weathering you did brings out that realistic feeling. Thanks again Steve for sharing your videos with us along with your PRICELESS time and effort. Cheers from Laurel, Delaware USA.
like the operating door and the way you hid it. I scratch build a lot, and kit bash. I found that using generic Legos a simple way to make the walls square. I also use them to brace the roof. Thanks for sharing!
I like all of those buildings that you put together and really looks like the real thing Hey I have just a few already built buildings and I like those buildings that I bought at our train shows here in Louisville
Ha, I don’t really. Just have a couple boxes of parts so finding what you want can be a bit of a challenge. At some point I need to set stuff since I have quite a few extra parts now.
I like the Vallejo putty the best but I ran out of that and am using Testors plastic putty which works nearly as well. The Vallejo putty has a very fine applicator tip which is super handy.
@@StevesTrains Steve, Thank you for the super quick reply. I have another question I forgot to ask. The push flat buttons you use to control the turnout motors, who makes them and where can I get them. Thank you again.
Steve, what is the brand of the round button switches you use to control the turnouts and where can I buy them. I have pretty tight aisles and I think these will work for my turnout controls in these tight spaces. Thank you again for a great series.
Great kit bashing on those buildings. Love the sliding door so you can put car inside that was a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
GOD BLESS 🚂💕🚂💕🚂💕🚂💕
As always, great content! Please do a video that covers how you are doing the pavement, especially along the Unitrack.
Love the ingenuity Steve - I always enjoy your builds.
Very nice! Love your creative kit bashing. No fear. Thanks for sharing!

That is a good idea to use the legos to keep the corners square!

George
yep, as I do most of the time anymore
Love your videos
Awesome kit bashing / structure build 👍🏽
Thanks 👍
Kit bashing is one of my favorite things!
I tend to just look at kits as lego sets you can do what you want with. It is fun to make them your own.
Steve, It looks great! You are truly, the kit bashing master. I am curious. How do you sort and store all those excess parts for later use?
Ha, I don’t really. Just have a couple boxes of parts so finding what you want can be a bit of a challenge. At some point I need to set stuff since I have quite a few extra parts now.
Steve, Thank you for another great how-to video. The putty you use seems to be easy to work with. What brand do you use?
I like the Vallejo putty the best but I ran out of that and am using Testors plastic putty which works nearly as well. The Vallejo putty has a very fine applicator tip which is super handy.

Steve how do you power the track on your switch layout
Dual DC and DCC power. I have two jacks on the side for plugging in the power adapters.
Hey Steve what foam are you using?
A mix of foam core board and gator board on this one.
