Love my Japanese Spitz, his name is Shiro, looking at those size numbers, he is big for the breed, weighs around 11.5kg, around 40cm tall and he is still only 9 months! Absolute adorable fluffball and he knows it too! So true about their coat, it is amazing, teflon dogs indeed!

Probably yes but it will certainly differ by region/geography. I will say make it once a month if u want to be too careful but not more than that. Other thing could be if u somehow manage to make it dirty by playing but their coat stays clean as is so that might be hard to implement. Average by what I have read is once every 2 months which, if u r just going by personal choice and not by the condition of the coat, is what u should be following

My breeder told me my girl should not be bathed more than 3-4 times a year because it can remove the important Teflon coat oils.
