  • Distribution factor in alternator in hindi or a detail description of distribution factor, spread factor, breath factor, winding factor is presented in this video. The starting of video describes with example, what is concentrated winding and distributed winding. From that example distribution factor in alternator is explained in detail. The initial section of the distribution factor in alternator explains how to get phasor sum of induced emf in stator winding the later section of the distribution factor in alternator explains how to get arithmetic sum of induced emf in stator winding. The distribution factor in alternator is the ratio of phasor sum of emfs to arithmetic sum of emfs. The last derivation of the distribution factor in alternator is presented with fundamental component as well as Hth harmonic component.
