E90 BMW trunk unlock tutorial

- If you’ve disconnected your battery and closed the trunk this is the vid for you. I forgot to mention all work was done in the passenger footwell. 07 335i
Steps
-remove panel
-remove the connector
-find the grey wire with green stripe
-use a razor to expose the copper on the wire (small area) DONT CUT IT
-hook up jumpers to an old battery
-place the ground lead on the door jamb
-apply 12v to the wire with the positive lead
Best video i did everything you did because if you dont you will waste time i had a issue with my e93 i accidentally left the ket in the trunk but doors were open so i could do the little trick you did green and grey wire was the one thanks my guy it hurt my back like crazy trying to disconnect the harness but now i got my key out of the trunk thanks again

but you dont need to damage the wire just put the needle in the pin wehre its wire black-green.

You could also use the key, well I guess some people loose keys, my bad.
i have the key but its not opening with the key. i dont no whay.

Can I do this with the connector still attached? There’s no space to pull it out as the main wiring loom is behind it
