Why would CG girls attack over this video? It is all about personal preference. Everyone’s hair reacts differently to different ingredients. I tried 2 weeks with silicone products & 2 weeks without when I big chopped. I noticed a *considerable* difference in my hair’s dryness when I used silicone-free products, so I stuck with it. Plenty of other people use silicones constantly, & they have long, healthy gorgeous hair. People need to understand that every head of hair isn’t the same & let people live!! I watch this channel regardless of what products you use because you all do a thorough job reviewing every product. Keep it up!

Agreed! I watch M.A.D. Curls because I enjoy the mother daughter relationship that Taylor Anne and Lori Anne share with us. I love silicones in my products so I will be checking this line out. Silicones are not as bad as some Naturals try to make it. Been using silicone since my relaxed days and had hair that was thick and near my hips. Your correct all these rules will drive you crazy. I don’t listen to any of it. Anyway as usual both of you have beautiful hair that came out perfect.

I found out silicon comes from silica, which isn't bad as I formally understood. So I am selecting product differently now.

Love your videos and approach! I tried the curly girl method and went back to using silicones, as they really do the trick for me and don't bother me/my curls at all! Know your hair and rock it peacefully should be the golden rule imo. :-) Keep it up, you beautiful ladies, and P.S. could you pls test ORS Monoi range?? Lorianne has the leave - in conditioner already and apparently likes it, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on the entire range. Great results ladies! TaylorAnne, your bangs are growing and that's a great length for your face. You both can do no wrong, whatever you use gives you awesome results. I love Aussie, I have the conditioner and the 3 minute-miracle, but I try not to use them too often because of the cones...HOWEVER...cones are NOT the devil! So tired of this notion...I really think, you have to know what's good for your hair and why you use the ingredients you choose...If and when I use cones, I make sure I use a sulfate shampoo after...(yes, I said sulfate! 😱😨🤣). Anyway, ladies, it's so nice to see you, I was having serious withdrawals symptoms, I'm addicted to M.A.D.ness and there is no cure! I loved the CG method. I haven't been on it technically for like 2 years but I noticed most of the products I use end up being CG friendly anyway. Hello Ladies. I’ve been a subscriber for the past few months and always find your videos very enjoyable. I have been following the Curly Girl Method for the past few months and have been trying to stay away from the “no no” ingredients. My question for TaylorAnne, since she’s such a big fan of Aussie which contains silicones, is whether she feels that her hair ever has buildup from the silicones. I’ve been really trying to stay away from conditioners with silicones, for fear of buildup, since I’m not using shampoos with sulfates. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks in advanced!
Hi Rosanna! No, I’ve never experienced buildup because I use Aussie. I shampoo my hair every 2 weeks to really get it squeaky clean.. but in between I’ll Cowash with Aussie. -TaylorAnne

To get rid of your part you can buy a conair lift me comb it can be found at your local Wal-Mart , it's great for scalp massaging and getting rid of parts && to get rid of the part you have to move your lift me comb side to side to get rid of the part and also it's great for wanting more volume 🤗🤗

Hello girls ! Thank your for this cheerfull video. LorieAnne your hair is growing nicely !! 🙌🏾 With regards some of your comments, i agree I don t think there should be a rule for silicon , it is more a question of how when and which silicon you use and what suits your hair long term and in a healthy manner. Silicon (the good ones , water soluble ones) if used as the last step can actually seal the moisture. However talking about the product you showcase today, i would suggest , if i may , you look at the amount of nourishing ingredients . I had been using Aussie 3 minute miracle condish during my first two years of being natural, i liked it. Even until las year i was going onto my 3rd year, i used the rest of bottle i had bought a while back. However i had noticed even if the style would hold nicely, even if i my hair would feel moisturised for the first three days or the entire week, my hair would feel awfully dry and more than before i even used Aussie. I have noticed when i use products with too many synthetic ingredients my hair is ☹️ or 😤. I would say it s like if you were eating only synthetic food, maybe your belly would be full but soon your metabolism would be weak. So what does one prefer to have hair that look nice or hair that look nice because they are healthy ? Right ? 😊Aussie makes hair beautiful and that i think is its purpose. But how well does it nourishes and bring hydration to hair ? 🤔And if any nourishing ingredients, where are they in the list ? Remember only the top 5 ingredients are in important proportion. After that , any product would be in minimal quantity i.e. small percentages like 1% or so (sometimes less )... i would love your feedback on a long trial period (a month or two)... Taylor Ann , your bang is parting because i think unconsciously you part it. Look at the video you will see how you part it because actually your bang has been growing and the strands that are too long you put them on the side...i think it the reason why.. 😊😊 That said : Congrats on your new subscribers !!! Among them :myself, i would always watch but not subscribe. LorieAnne motivated me to do so. Because it seems you take the time to interact with your audience! And that is really cool !! 😊💕 Sorry if i am kind of long in here, it feels like writing a novel 😂 Ps : will you be trying the New Eco Gold, not a lot a review on youtube yet and people are already chasing the product ! I personally rate the content, the interaction with subscribers and differentiation points because they are so many channels now. Other than that like you i have tried a few eco Olive , Argan, light protein, colored hair , castor oil but my favorite is the pink one because it s contains some water and it gives a soft wet hold. Even if i have coarser hair (type 4), my hair prefer medium hold gel. And i don t like anything with a cast...I like your reviews , they are getting very informative, you talk on products but other topics related to the natural world. You made great point about religion and hair. Sometimes people take it an extreme. We love our hair but we are not fanatics , right ? At the end of the day it s only hair. ☺️(By the way, before i forget those lipstick are gorgeous on you !!! 💕)... Looking forward to future review ! And 18.00 isn’t helping the matter 😂 we have 4 ECO gels .....the coconut, the professional (Black one), the one for highlights (the yellow one) and our favorite the Olive Oil one but they just don’t “wow” us. MsAvalon25 Thank you for watching and commenting. We were excited to try it seeing we had been using the conditioners for years. We loved the results silicones aside. But our hair journeys are all individual. We all have to make the best choices that are suitable to our own needs.
