Thanks for your input! This is such an old video. I remember the phone camera I used back then would shut off after 5 minutes. It made for stressful filming days.
It worked okay for my curls, and if you need a very affordable curly hair routine this might work. It worked well enough for. As I said, it's not my best curls, but it's not my worst either.
Just subscribed. Aussie cream pudding side looks great! Try it with the Aussie freeze gel. Please post a video for fine curly hair using a curl activator & gel.
This is such an old video of mine. Since making this though I have been working my way through different brands that are affordable and available at drugstores. I'm not sure if you have a specific curl activator in mind, but I have used some products that don't have the "activator" label, but I feel they meet the standards. Most products that have magnesium suflate act as curl activators for me (I have a video on AG Re:Coil, didn't have the best of luck with it, but learned later I was too heavy handed for that video). I also personally feel like some products labeled as primers work well to activate my curls. I will be doing a "This or That" video in 2024 comparing two primers.
I've heard good things about the Aussie Freeze gel, but never tried it. Instead I chose the Volumizing Gel (featured in my 1,2,3 Gel Method), because with my length and fine hair I always struggle with volume.
I'm an Aussie girl for life like I have used other products just because I wanted to try them but Aussie oh my gosh the miracle curls line and the shampoo and conditioner miracle curls by Aussie and the Aussie hair leaving insurance oh my gosh it makes your hair so soft even if it's colored like which I never really color mine but I did get it colored a while back with some chunky blonde highlights and brown and oh I love this stuff it I'm never using anything else ever again after this
I love Aussie products specially the shampoo and conditioner and the 3 minute deep conditioner that’s funny because I just tried the cream pudding today with the curl refresher I really like it I still need to try the curl cream💜
I just used a cleansing conditioner from Cake beauty yesterday…. OMG as soon as I finished diffusing my hair…. My roots already looked like it was day 4 or 5 hair. I don’t know if this happens to most people with Fine and Thin curls and waves but…. I had to shampoo my hair today. 🤦🏼♀️
Do you ever style you hair completely upside down from brushing it all upside down to applying products. I’m asking since when I do that, my hair gets super tangly and all my clumps that do form tend to fall apart. I see many people do their hair upside down and I feel like when I do this… it’s always a fail.
Yes and no, I used to brush style my hair upside down almost all the time for a while. I almost always put my products on right side up but then would flip my head/hair upside down and brush the curls upwards and back. I felt like it helped with giving me volume. I never noticed it being too tangled when doing that. I kinda got out of the habit of doing it for some reason; maybe because when I record a product review I feel a little funny about having my face down the whole time.
I like any products that will scrunch out to light and fluffy. When I used gel…. It could be user error on my side but, when I scrunch out gel my curls defined and softer but not light and fluffy that I get from using foam or mousse. I really like to pair a tiny bit of leave in or curl cream with foam and then top it with a mousse. Do you ever do that. Your curls are tighter than mine but I tend to go for lighter hold so my coils and curls turn into S’s after I scrunch things out.
@@nikkiluvsmakeup5224 I almost always prefer a more defined look over a light and fluffy look. I feel like it helps me extend my wash days. I've never tried pairing a cream, foam and mousse all together. I almost always have a gel in my routine, and when I don't I get kinda nervous about it, lol.
@@lifeoffinecurls yes, I used to get nervous if I left out a cream and/or gel. When I started to experiment… I found that with my fine hair…. Little to No curl creams work best or they need to be light weight. With gel… I do like it with out and use a foam and then use a mousse. Sometimes I just use a lightweight leave in and then a mousse and skip the foam. Have you ever followed Holistic Enchilada…. I learned a lot of watching her.
Team pudding definitely!

I want to try that Miracle Curl line! Both sides looks gorgeous. Your hair seems to love the products!👍

Pudding side looks more defined. I use pudding, gel, then cake mousse.
That sounds like a combination for a successful washday.

Which side do you prefer? Do you like light and fluffy (in my opinion more frizzy), or do you prefer the side with the more defined curls?

I like the side that you used the creme pudding the best, but either side looks good really.
@@reggiesatyanathan2507 Thank you! That's my favorite too!
Does anyone else with fine hair struggle with co-washing?
