Could you do an updated video for the live action ATLA cast
Is the intro song (next to you) from the anime Parasyte
Yip! Yip!
Monk Gyatso also was really close to Aang and probably treated him like a son because he knew that in Aang’s past life, he was Avatar Roku. “Some friendships are so strong they can transcend lifetimes.”
You are accurate. This even happens in real life although instead of transcending lifetimes,it can transcend generations
I like to think that when aang went into the avatar state after finding gyatso. It was roku coming out with anger that his friend had been murdered
Now, you have watched avatar
@@anils04569 only like a thousand times! 😆
@@voidnull4282 oh shit! I never thought of that, or a combo of both of them
Tenzin after Aang died: "I'm the last airbender." He said sorrowfully.
And then 6 years later he didn’t become that again
Dark as darkness is dark.
Fortunately that didn't last long. His four children as well as harmonic convergence aftermath
So sad to hear the Lion Turtles were hunted to extinction and the last one that Aang met disappeared soon after Aang defeated Fire Lord/Phoenix King Ozai. Nothing about the last one died or became part of the Spirit World.
I was in section comments for that comment, ill think tge same is so sad. Hoping that lion turtles is in spirit world too
Oh Sorry. Didnt Mean To Offend You Phoenix King Of Getting His Butt Whooped!
-Toph
Tenzin is not a reflection of his farther. He is Tenzin and he should be proud of who he is and what he has achieved. He realised this when escaping the spirit world fog of lost souls. From that day forth he finally began to live life as himself.
Guys please tell me please I really want to watch more of the avatar series but I ended up at the episode where aang defeats the fire lord( the phoenix king) and after that zuko becomes the fire lord
So did the avatar series ended up there or is still continued please tell me if it’s continued then where can i watch all of its episodes I love them🥺❤️
@@danihun3892 There is Legend of Korra next, that's 2nd series of avatar
@@domis8804 and what’s after that?
@@danihun3892 nothing. Thera are comics tho.
@@emils1615 agreed
It makes a lot of sense that Airbenders didn't really live at the air temples & moved around a lot - not only because they're called air "nomads" but also because Aang talked about spending time with Bumi & Kuzon in the Earth & Fire Nations, and I thought, "Wow he travelled a lot in his 12 years!"
The interesting thing is he never mentioned a friend from the water tribe.
I really want a mini series for every avatar that existed, like a 12 episodes mini series with action and fun, I will be amazing if there did, especially avatar wan seens his story was rushed a little.
I mean i know for a fact we are getting a confirmed Kyoshi movie, same with Zuko and Korra. Gotta wait till 2024 till Kyoshi though
There were literally 10 thousand Avatars
@@glory5492 bro how were thee ten thousand avatars if avatars have only existed for 1000 years LOL learn math
@@glory5492 it was 1000 avatars not 10000
@@levi16._ I think the Kyoshi movie is being made into a series, I'm not sure though, but the 2024 movie was confirmed by Avatar studios to be a movie following a young adult Avatar Aang and the GAang.
“The journey I took with your mom, uncle Sokka and our friend Toph.”
Zuko: 🧍♂️
🤣😂🤣🤣poor zuko
Zuko: am I a joke to you?
Zuko hung out for a couple of weeks and then switched sides right at the end. Aang is right
@@jacobk7262 It's so easy to forget Zuko joined the Gaang for only 9 episodes, since until the finale those episodes included him a lot and we followed his story from the start. Suki had just about as much time with the Gaang (joined 1-2 episodes later, but had an episode in season 2) but she was just Sokka's girlfriend story-wise. (Which wasn't a bad thing).
Suki😭😭
You know something I didn’t think about before is this. At one point in his life Tenzin was likely the last Airbender just like his father. Even though his children were born before Aang passed away that still left Tenzin as the only adult Airbender and he was left with the responsibility of keeping the Air Nomads culture, history and teachings alive for his family and all future Air Benders.
This makes his encounter with Aang in the Spirit World so much more impactful to me.
The children were born after Aang died, Jinora and Korra have around a 6 years difference.
If the avatar doens't count, Tenzin was the last airbender for about 6 years until Jinora is born.
@@mstudio7970 Thanks for letting me know.
I'm not sure where I got the idea, so idk if it's canon, but I thought that once the war was over, air nomads started being born, or people with latent airbender genes were gifted bending by the spirits.
I wonder if Aang ever spoke to Ravva and learned the story of Wan during his later years.
Probably he learned it at the future of his life when he grow up and started to talk many avatars.
Actually I don’t think he did. It seems like it was so long ago many of the Avatars from Kyoshi to Aang had not known. But you never know
There is no raava in atla
@@hueyfreeman6262 Canonically Ravva is in Aang just like she is in Korra, they wouldn’t be the Avatar without her.
@@fazbrogaming7776 I'm talking before the legend of Korra was even in production
Speaking of Aang today is Zack Tyler Eisen's (Aang's voice actor) birthday 🎁🎉🎂
I saw that on the official channel. Happy birthday Zach Tyler Eisen’s
the "other bodily fluids" part is actually why I think that Waterbending is actually more powerful and dangerous, especially by the time Aang is in his 40s (Amon's father incident mainly), since that would mean not only the stuff people would usually think (urine, saliva and other "stuff") but also things like stomach acid, tears, sweat, snot and brain/spinal fluid and to clarify I didn't know this book existed until today (I didn't get into the deep lore of ATLA/LOK until a couple days ago when I finally decided to sit down and watch LOK and came to that conclusion purely because of Bloodbending being a thing at all) and it's good to know that what I thought is very much possible
They also bend the water in plants.
Other bodiky fluids as in seme-
Piss bender
Bloodbending: Bending's version of quickhacks from Cyberpunk.
tbh I thought the other bodily fluids was ...... pee.
Bending ‘other bodily fluids’: Katara worked up a sweat when she and Toph were held in a wooden cage and used her sweat to bend. ‘A sweaty, stinky genius,’ as Toph says.
I remember watching this when i 10. Till this day im still salty there was never a continuance for aang. There should have been at least another 3 more seasons, then following with Korra
DW in 2025 we will finally get their adult lives
Some Friendships r so strong they can even transcend life times💪
" it's nice to see you again..twinkletoes "
"The plural of bison is actually bison, not bisons” Tenzin once said 1:55
I hate it when they use singular for plural as well it just confuses people what the hell's wrong with *Bison's* ? 🤣
@@TheRealSephiroth Well now you added an apostrophe making it possessive. As in "The Bison's saddle"
you can use both
This needs to be the top comment
Kinda crazy to see a goofy kid turn into this calm gentle humble adult
Sadly Aang never heard this, "I'm not going to let them take you away from me"
I think why lightning is associated is because Jeong Jeong said fire is alive & It can't really be controlled like water wont move until you make it happen but fire will spread & Iroh said that you don't control the lightning you only provide release and guide so they both can't be controled

When I saw the western air temple in ATLA, I remembered how Aang said he and the airbenders used to laugh at gravity! 😁
How do people kill a lion turtle that gave them the ability to bend.
I feel a bit more enlightened thanks to this video. I will say that I will have a special place in my heart for Uncle Iroh. 💖
Awesome. As mentioned in various comments I hope they do miniseries for past avatars. I would also love to see one of Iroh of how he went from a general to a wise peace loving man.
because his son died
Yoo great vid showing stuff that as always we probably wouldnt know
From time to time it would be nice to have videos this length.
No wonder Tenzin got frustrated with Korra when she didn't pay attention
Weird how Aang's parents were never mentioned.
Nah, they were just out there traveling around the world to get some soy milk
Aang grew up with the air nomad tribe and it seemed as if not many of the kids there had parents idk if they got wiped out by the fire nation or whatnot . And maybe all the kids were trained at one tribe while the parents were elsewhere
Weren’t the airbenders removed from them at birth (or very young) to be trained?
@@deja-vuatfirstsight7020 😂
Airbenders didn’t have parents. They were raised by the community as a whole
The avatar letting his pain flow away
I like to imagine old Aang looking like his disguise when he went to Omashu
Cool video man. Always appreciate another Avatar fan
I love all of your vids but I like it when you do longer videos
thanks for the video!
I am now sad knowing that there is only one lonely lion turtle left alive😭
I imagine the bending could get more technical the more you know. Water bender a can change the state of it from ice and pull it out of air. Could a air bender turn air into poisonous gas or lower oxygen in the air? Could earth bender take a boulder brake it into sand and condense it back to a boulder and if you lava bend could you make diamonds?
I like men. You are a man.
yes. they can even go as far as remove the air in your lungs and create a void around your head from which no air or oxygen can enter, sounds very nice :D
And yes, in the original avatar, the earthbender prisoners takes shatterd coal and compresses it into a solid rock to escape. And several times they made solid rock ground into quick sand so I would think they can make it solid again! well if they compressed it for what? a billion years? yea sure that would work ^^
This video was awesome, thank u for the Intel! 😊
Wait... This is a new content!! OMG... i just re watched avatar the legend of aang and then korra (then realized i didn't finished it in 2014, i just watched few episodes).. I just finished 3 days ago and still shocked for the ending of Korra, then someone discussing about avatar again this time... This feeling when i got interested for something old, then it started to get relevant again is an amazing feeling for me... Especially when i found out in comment section that more avatar series will come out few years later.. 😍
Nice vid, Thanks!

1:01 "He shows AANG the map of the world,"
3:21 to skip ad
5:14 I wonder what Katara and Aang were doing that they found out they can "bend other bodily fluids" 😂😂
My dirty mind immediately went to Katara using bloodbending to make Aang, uh, erect lol
They were creating
Bending or something's
they probably used it for contraception
Love next to you playing in the background.❤
So about how aang doesn't live near as long as the other avatars, one thing that always confused me (yes I know real life in a fantasy game) is that how him being trapped in ice lessened his life span. I would've guessed that being in ice would've slowed his metabolism and would've in fact made him live longer than most avatars since ageing isn't really related to life force or "chi" but instead to the damage that you receive and recover from.
he was in the avatar state for 100 years which drained his "life force"
Yea what Patrick said, it wasn’t actually being in the iceberg that shortened his life but the fact that he stayed in the avatar State for that long that had a toll on his body
Thr real reason was so that they could continue with some much beloved wife characters in the sequel series (Katara, Zuko, Toph)
@@zachward97 Yeah and to add to that, During Vaatu vs Raava, Rava would say to Wan if i stay inside you any longer you will die. Thus it makes sense since the Avatar state is essentially Rava taking control.
@@saiwaqa2573 Im a bit rusty on my LOK lore but wasnt that before the harmonic convergence that rava said that? And after Rava fused with Wan it was fine? Im not sure that necessarily had any part on shorting his life span but certainly could have

Where did you get all this information from?
I love this video excellent brake down
Now I noticed something when looking at the Earth kingdom capitals map : 60% of the exterior wall land before the lower ring is taken up by farm Fields , now if population problems still currently exist in that dimensions current history, why not annex some of the farm field land which in recent times have provided very low crop yields or low resources and build more residential buildings into the lower ring area, but they may need to build a newer wall , which might cause an revision of the city maps , but increase residential areas to lower population overcrowding- just saying is all , if even after ( series 2 ) recent years this is still an nagging problem…( I know it sounds boring, but it would solve the problem of overcrowding for an few decades)…
The avatar had a vision of the blind bandit many years ago

the word Namadmean a person who does not stay long in the same place
What is the song used in the intro
Aang should have been an immortal that never experienced death because he has already experienced it in many lifetimes before. He was supposed to have become immortal as it is his divine birthright never to experience death again. I would have moved heaven and earth to give Aang immortality because his character represents the embodiment of true divine love because only love can conquer hate, and Aang did that when he confronted the fire Lord.
That confrontation was the cheesiest and corniest most cliche confrontation ever. There was no development, no struggle, and nothing learnt from it other than “yaya magic turtle shows up and saves the day!”
It would’ve been better had Aang wanted to kill the Firelord out of hatred and anger for what happened to his people. But he could always say to himself “its to bring balance not hatred 😅” and THEN the lion turtle shows up and gives Aang that conflict of “oh shit now I have the OPTION to let him live hmm…”
