I had 4 young kids and with help of my family and faith I eventually got thru it and remarried. My wife of 28 years who gave me 2 great kids who are young adults with their own families died July 9th of this year. Talk about 2020 being a bad year. With that being said and not looking for pity I have once again asked Jesus to adjust the pack using your anology Him and I are still working on it with my large family Keep up the trailblazing.

ii have lived and hunted here in alaska for almost 20 years and have felt blessed for every day untill last year. i wish i was that strong, i lost everything i loved in 8 months last year in 3 seperate incidents, one of them was on april 9th it left me bloody and shakin to the core. in that moment i acepted what had just happened to me im far from the man i should be. the blood wasnt mine the soul the blood belonged to was innocent, good, pure in heart and soul and undeserving of what just happened i lost all faith that day but Billy has me thinking

Great message Billy, as you were relating the bear story, I was thinking, “Gee, I would love to hunt with this guy!” Then as you turned toward your sermon, I thought, “Wow, this is my brother, I really need to hunt with this guy!” Romans 12:11 says always be fervent in the spirit. Great message Billy. I remember my first bear hunt for Grizzly in Alaska. I hit the Grizzly twice, but he kept going and went into the alders. As you said you can only see about 10 feet in front of you. My guide and I waited 30 minutes and went in after him. No blood trail. We hunted 15 minutes and saw nothing. It was very intense. Re-grouped and started over using a grid system. After another 30 minutes found him expired to our relief.

Amen brother. Challenge accepted. If nothing else l will try to be a better man. I believe in God and think I’m a good person but I don’t know what my purpose is. Maybe that’s part of this new journey. Merry Christmas to everyone. In regards to the story I can relate. Have been on a couple of those tracking jobs and if you could bottle that feeling into a drug I’d be an addict. Probably something wrong with me to think that way but I’m glad to of had the experience.
We are here to worship GOD and to glorify him, that is our purpose on this planet!! Everything else is a bonus !! Imo.
