  • Trust The Guide is Christian Ministry and Fellowship for outdoors people, rednecks, hillbillies, "coyotes", ruffians, derelicts, "siwashes", and any non-conformist seeking to know Jesus, His Grace, and His free gift of Eternal Salvation.
This episode: In what or whom are placing your trust and faith? When we place our faith in possessions, fame, money, power, and others, sooner or later we will always be disappointed. Billy describes his faith in his earthly father, and how at one point he felt let down and resentment toward his father for not better preparing him for the "real world". As Billy searched, he discovered that there is only One Person we should place our faith in. Years later, Billy Also realized that the very character trait Billy resented his father for, has in fact been one of the greatest gifts in his life.

Thank You Billy for reminding us of how it was back in the good old days. I too grew up with very little money in our family and worked really hard. Thanks for keeping it real. Today we need these stories more than ever as a reminder of how it was. I live in Pa and work in ND.oilfields. I drive my truck all night long watching your videos. I most appreciate how real and honest you are. Thank You Mark

Thanks for sharing your life stories/lessons/God's Word. The being on the fence is true, you will be miserable until you have true surrender to God in yoyr life. I just wanted to tell you of a true story of young missionaries in a foreign land that had to learn through trials and trusting in God to show them via the Holy Spirit what needed to be done to teach the tribes how to be born again. The story is called ( THE PINEAPPLE STORY). You will be amazed and know that God is the one true God, The King of Kings. The Lord of Lord's. The story has great teaching and insight into how we dont always trust in God until He lets us struggle, then we seek Him.
    THE PINEAPPLE STORY.
Thanks Billy for telling the workd about Jesus and His way to true Salvation and Hope for a life eternal in heaven. Love your hunting videos, exciting, scary, amazing guide life in the Alaska wilderness. Very unreal to some folks, they only dream of hunting or fishing in Alaska. Thanks for telling of your heavenly father and your earthly father. AMEN

Always good to to have some God talk Bill. It's interesting that wisdom doesn't come all at once but here a little and there a little as our life stretches out before us, but only if someone shares God's wisdom so we can recall. Thanks for sharing.

Good afternoon 🌄🏔️ your family mirrors mine. That is all are parents knew and they did the best they could just as you and I are doing today. It wasn't the thing to do tell your kids you Love Them. That is why I had such a hard time with The Lord a Loving father. Today's kids can be very Evil because they don't have to answer for there actions. It's easy to hurt people with the internet We all need to become healers
God Bless your Adventures I maybe in Bozeman Montana for your show

Wow! As a guy who also grew up on a farm, (Michigan). I can so relate in a lot of ways. We had a lot of horses. No milk cows but ran beef. Always so much to do.I remember so many times my friend coming over on his bike and my Dad would take advantage of the extra help. He would say, before you guys go do what you want to do could you repair that section of fence on the south wire. We would almost expect to do something before play.
Still have a hard time rembering that my Dad is not indestructible. He's 91 now.
