    I have the same question as Andy below.
    Why do you choose a leader which floats the best (co polymer ?) only then to apply grease to it so that it sinks ?

    So use mono line with dries since it floats but then add that sinking mud to your dry fly leader…

      A mono tapered leader, Down to a tippet ring, with fluorocarbon tippet is standard.

    are you say "sealstar" flies ?
