What is Active Hope?
It is a practice - something that we can do - that supports us to:
(a) make a difference in this world and
(b) live with more of a sense of meaning to life.
Whatever it is that concerns us: environmental issues; social issues; racism; world poverty; climate change; or any other issue that we would like to make a difference in, Active Hope is a practice that helps us find our purpose, and play our part.
We do not have to solve all of the world's problems on our own, but, together, we can change the world for the better.
In this creative collaboration, Joanna Macy reads a passage from her book "Active Hope: How to Face the Mess We're in Without Going Crazy" (co-authored by Chris Johnstone), accompanied by images from Carlotta Cataldi: (carlottacat.com), and music by Chris Johnstone.

Hi Bruna, you can download the video from the free Active Hope online course at @t . You'd need to sign up to do the course, which comes in weekly instalments over seven weeks. This video is in the first week. You could then create subtitles in Portuguese if you know how and then stick it up on You Tube. Please do tell us if you do this, so we can have a link to it.
