Sorry to ask ma ...can i prepare my soap base with the black soap, herbs and other soap like ozone, anti pimples soap, ball soap? Mix them and use as my base for this recipe?
@@annacrystal3023 Hello...I have seen videos where different soaps are combined. I personally don't use any of that. I only use African black soap. You may want to do some more research if you want to add other soaps. Herbs are usually ok depending on what you want to add. Hope this helps
You are one out of a few that strained the liquid African Black Soap from the impurities (or particles ). Yay!! You know what you're doing. Awesome tutorial! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the update about the sunflower. I was trying to figure out how to omit it and keep the same consistency. Also, thank you for one of the most detailed and best videos for liquid black soap. I think you're the first one I've seen that added a preservative. 🙂
Thank you for sharing your recipe, I did not see any measurements for adding guar gum liquid with the glycerin and the liquid Germell plus please advise. I have been liquidizing black soap for about twenty years. I find that there is always something new to learn.
Just stumbled on this video which I thoroughly enjoyed and have subscribed to your channel. I gained more insight from your response to several comments. Thank you.
@OceNatural I tried this recipe and even used a smaller quantity of guar gum. It was well dissolved but kind of formed gelled up specs in my liquid soap? What could have happened?! I’m just going to purchase from your website now!
Awesome video, thank you for sharing 🤗. I do have a question, I have liquid black soap, how does that work in this recipe? Would I still need to add the distilled water?
Hi! Yes it can . I make my own citric acid solution because you can’t buy it in liquid form . Here is a video showing how to make and use citric acid solution ruclips.net/video/t4EyaJwVcYA/видео.html
Hi! You can use a converter from wholesale supplies plus and it converts from grams to %. Here is the link it gives directions how to do it www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/calculators/Percentage_Calculator.aspx
For some reason the soap isn't foaming up for me. I did two different 2oz samples and it's extremely slippery and no foam/ lathering. Do you know what could be wrong?
The skin on the face is more delicate than the body and black soap has been known to be drying on the skin . This black soap wash can be used on the hair ,face and body but my recommendation is for the body it’s just my personal preference . If you don’t find black soap drying you can use it as you like . Hope this answers your question.
@@onlineblockrosary9606 you can add extra oils to moisturize. What we make should be good for our face and body since it’s all connected. I wash my face with black soap. In that case there would be no need for diy videos showing us how to promix black Soap. Again, just add extra oils to keep your skin moisturized. I made a black soap and Tumeric scrub, it came out wonderfully. 🌹
Unfortunately you can’t lower the ph to that range. Black soap is alkaline and when you lower the ph to that range it is going to lose its ability to cleanse the skin as it has already gone through the saponification process .
@Llovee Riley, it can be used as a shampoo, just add extra oils to moisturize. I made some shampoo from Sandra Burnett’s video and it worked well. I also added a thickener. I added my infused fenugreek oil and some other oils.
@@CougarLyfe Awesome. I always formulate my shampoos differently than the body washes. For this recipe its a body wash recipe as I have other hair shampoo recipes. Glad your recipe turned out great!
Hi . Yes you can use emulsifying wax too but I don’t like the way the consistency of the black soap . I no longer use emulsifiers in my black soap wash only Xanthan gum
@@chinyzurc9790 please refer to the description box for the updated notes . I no longer use emulsifiers in my black soap . If you want to please refer to the usage rate for emulsifying wax from the supplier as they all have different rates .
I want to make a large quantity and I messed it up bcos I didn't have a good measurement for the guar gum, so bcos the guar gum didn't really give me the thickness I wanted after adding and adding I was advised to add some thickening chemicals, during mixture again it became too much and when I used it on the hair , it's not foamy and it's has this tingling feeling that is really uncomfortable Please I want to start over again please give me a measurement for more bigger production like 10liters to 20 liters, I mean for guar gum. Thank you in advance I will appreciate if you reply me.
I would not recommend that for the black soap . If you were making a regular body wash with surfactants then yes. You can either skip the emulsifier and use only a thickener like Xanthan or guar gum for this black soap
@@OceNatural I'm glad i always scroll through comments cuz' i just asked this question a short while ago because i have ewax...so I'll just go ahead & purchase xanthan gum

Can you use aloe vera powder instead of gel?

You can add your preservative when making the wash and then adjust the ph as needed or you can do it at the end after adjusting the ph
