Ohio State fan here. Nice to see a quarter of the Pac 12 join the Big Ten. I'm looking forward to seeing Ducks competing at Ohio State, Xichigan, Xichigan State, Iowa, Purdue, Indiana, Penn State when it gets cold. Can't wait for 2024. Best of luck, y'all. Go Bucks!

You dont think winter in oregon is cold? Ive been to games below freezing in eugene.... Its football, youre folks are going to have to deal with eugene and the Ducks. If you look at the record, I believe the Ducks have a decent record against the confrence. The only guys theyve struggled with is OHIO STATE. But who hasnt?
Dan is a great guy. I was lucky enough to meet him in person at a U of Oregon alumni event. He’s really down-to-earth and it shows in his interviews! Sco Ducks 🦆!

I really feel Oregon is poised for a special season. Results matter. Last season is in the past. Building block for this season. Dillon Gabriel is set up for an epic season. Go Ducks!
It feels like it. But it also felt like this before in 2011 and 2014. As a lifelong oregonian and ducks fan, I feel that this year we will fall short of national championship just because Dillon Gabriel. I don't think Gabriel can carry this team first year. In my opinion the ducks will win it all next year. When Dante moore has had time to learn the system and our 5* recruits have had time to develop. Maybe even not until 2026. Call me paranoid. But I have watched oregon for 25yrs

Pate's the best....hands down. I recall when he was an unknown (nationally). I had this vision of pairing Josh Pate and RJ Young to create the ultimate college football tag team. I feel as though RJ's swag was watered down when he went to Fox.

My goal in life is to have the positivity that Dan exudes. When the Ducks lose a 5* to yet another SEC team I get so riled up but I genuinely believe he does wish them all the best and hope they reach their ceiling. That’s the type of person everyone should strive to be. Work your backside off but never hold someone else’s success against them.

Lol, that's an interesting contortion. He had just got done explaining how recruiting is a lengthy, intensive process involving the whole program including current players, and NIL is just a part of that.
As to whether he's overrated, I tend to agree at the current point, with all due respect to him. But I think many people see a lot of potential in him. And his upstream coaching lineage certainly helps him gain notoriety.
