Gambit wasn’t actually in any movie before this. The actor playing him was trying to make a gambit movie for years but it never worked out. So he finally got make his dream come true

Gambit is from a movie that was is in development hell for for like 8 years then canned, it I would have have gone with The Incredible Hulk (1977), Spider-Man (1978), or Howard the Duck since I think they would be funnier
I have no idea why people act as if this is the worst movie ever. I went in wanting a Deadpool and Wolverine movie, and that's what I got. Is it groundbreaking, no, but it was fun and enjoyable.
I hate the plot/joke trade off, jokes SHOULD come more naturally in the plot. The jokes should like.. make sense I guess, to the context of the movie, but that connects to people I guess. It’s always felt off-putting how Marvel movies present their jokes in recent times, like kinda random and out of place it’s the only thing I hear in passing lol. And to the simplicity point, I’m not a Marvel freak(lore wise.. idk)so this could be some uhh theory/conspiracy, writers being like “we hate how complicated the stories are, w the multiverse and all, here’s something easy.” And people love it. Kinda crazy how that works, haha.

this movie just destroyed despicable me 4 showing that simplicity is better then overuse of useless plot and love the outro dance btw.

I didnt understand the whole vanessa and deadpool breaking up thing. It felt forced.
