    Pye, you've got a crazy good video presence. Like confident, charismatic, and laid back all at once. You should teach a class on that next

      Confidence comes from finding yourself, it takes a lot of inner work.
      Being laid back is that confidence from experience. He's been working with clients for a little while

    Great fun. Love your videos.
    When shooting like this I love to shoot in Aperture Priority Mode coupled with Auto ISO and a minimum shutter speed.
    This way all I have to do after choosing location, framing, etc. is to choose the Aperture I want for DOF, make sure my focus point is where i want (nearest eye for this kind of thing) and then use Exposure Compensation to brighten or darken the image if needed.
    The ISO will automatically adjust so that I get the minimum shutter speed that I associated with Auto ISO for a steady/sharp image.
    I'll choose that Shutter Speed based on subject, focal length, etc. If I'm birding with a 150-600 it'll be 1/1000th or higher. For street portraits with a 35/50/85mm lens it'll be 1/125th or 1/160th.
    Cheers, Charles

    Fun video with a lovely positive vibe. One small respectful observation - the first 3 out of the 5 situations weren't explained so well in terms of seeing and exploiting available light. Those first three scenarios were more about explaining composition, which doesn't really fit with the title of the video or the introduction.

    Do you have a video for shooting indoors, with the house lights while looking at a window on a sunny day? Basically, get the correct exposure of a room when the shades are open (or there are no blinds, shades to seal off the sun).

    Photographic skills are way above his social manners. The word "please" does not seem to exist in his vocabulary. How is the model supposed to enjoy posting without any visual feeback? After all - I guess - paying her is enough.

  • @jigerwala420
    @jigerwala420 11 месяцев назад

    Sigma 35 mm f/1.4! is a basic lens ? any one who owns this lens is not need this video and he not told anything about what camera he is using. not worth to watch. implicitly he saying that if you want low light photos then buy any fast lens (i.e., 1.4 or less) and a full frame DSLR (which he not even mentioned) .
