Thanks Pye. I would never have thought of doing a shoot in a parking garage, but then we don't have any around here with such architectural appealing designs or nicely painted either.
I'm blown away that security never asked you to leave, especially since that didn't seem like a run down garage. Seemed to happen almost all the time when I used to shoot in parking garages!
It is getting harder these days to photograph at many locations because of disrespectful people. I was in Houston with a photo permit and got harressed by security. But we were able to shoot.
Loved all the tips with lighting and composition decisions. Hardly any of the scenes seemed appealing until I saw your resulting images. Thanks for opening my brain up a little further to the unusual. The knockout punch for me in your video was the kneeling vs standing camera position to affect the highlight position in the image. Dynamite tip! Thank you.
This is wonderful Pye! I love that you showed your thought process on each one. My request is can you do an editing vid on how you edited these. Especially the last few images! Those were phenomenal!
I loved how you showed your thought process and working through to create the image. Not being stuck on just natural light or having to always use flash but using the appropriate lighting for the situation is a great reminder. The video made the garage look fairly well lit I would presume it was not and you were using the high iso to get more ambient light? I have a request do you or are you planning on a video that helps with expressions and invoking the proper emotion for the scene. Glad you had an hour to kill .
Pye doing Pye things….Incredible stuff… Top notch Jedi photo tutorial…..Watching Pye go through his process with step by step instructions…Great stuff…😎
I listening to the new age photo language "A-10 is @ 1/4" Dean Collins and Kodak and old school light ratio out the window. If you don't use the same gear you just have to trial and error. Where as old school we meter and we hit main fill kick (high lights) by ratio what value to what pined point
Always very good stuff. I was, however, surprised that you cut her legs off at the knees in that last shot-seems a little awkward. But still, fantastic ideas.
That last shot was so sick. Definitely “oohhhhh”d out loud!
Incredible how high-level images are achieved with so little. Even more so with the simple way you explain it. A hug from Mexico!!
I love shooting in parking structures. This was amazing you capturing geometry and lighting!
Thanks Pye. I would never have thought of doing a shoot in a parking garage, but then we don't have any around here with such architectural appealing designs or nicely painted either.
I knew garage photography would finally catch on…no really they are some of the coolest places to run and gun shoot. Love it.
I loved all four scenes but the last one was my favorite! I loved the lines and the framing
So good! The standing vs kneeing composition at 12:49 was such a fantastic example of things I need to be checking in my own work.
This is really awesome! I love the garage architecture. The photos were incredible. I can't wait to try this.
Those photos are simply Fantastic
Great video. Made me super nervous, though, whenever Pye left his $6-7K rig in the ‘road’ to go get a light...

@@jlopez7596 It should be a matter of course to obtain a permit.
Another in a long line of great tutorials
Great images, great thought process. Stressed me out leaving camera on parking lot floor and walking away with cars going by in background!!!
Awesome work Pye... so creative, beautiful, fresh. Great instructional video.🙌🏼❤️
Great tutorial and showing what an outstanding photographer you are. Make it look easy to get fantastic shots. Love your videos.
Wow! I love those 👍🏻
I’m actually surprised it took you this long to hit a parking garage. I love garages with raw concrete walls. Perfect 👌🏾. Nice work Pye.
Great walk through! The pics look surreal!

That was really crazy, it was looking a high end photo shoot.
You’re very talented. Thanks man!
The images and the model are stunning!

This is great! You appear to have found the nicest car park in the world - they're all hideous grey brutalist monstrosities here...
I don't understand how this parking garage is so clean...
I was thinking the same thing!!!!!!
I think it's brand new one
Leave it to Pye to find a parking garage nicer than my living room. Must be in the 90210 zip code ! Great video, again.
The shots look amazing blown out!
Great, great. Confirm that the beauty is in the eye, not in the object. Master class in inusual zoom lens. Thank you.
Outstanding as usual Pye! Great tips and ideas!
Love your videos like this! Wonderful vision and results
Awesome! Very informative.
Great video. Great demo. You're going to get photographers kicked out of garages now!
This video was amazing love the last shot!!
I'm blown away with these pics.
I Would love to know how you added that blue and white accent to the pics in the editing process.
Exceptional shoot. 9:03 in the post production was brighter by a touch.
Really enjoying this “plain use of environment” would love more but with more males. Awesome stuff
Fabulous so helpful!
Love this!
cool shots! thanks for showing how you got them
Thank you for the great ideas.
Love it great ideas😁
This is wonderful
Really interesting ideas. However, I don't know where you are but, I assure you, parking garages in my area don't look like that. 😊
You can make up for that with wardrobe and a good looking girl.
Exactly 😂
Right, way dirtier
May I know where this parking structure is? I am also in OC and would love to try this concept. Thanks Pye
I love your photography tutorial .. but I love the unprocessed image everytime you show us your before after ...
Great job love the framing and attention to details. A tip for you as you get older "knee pads" lol
This was amazing. Like like thumbs up
Super cool
What’s the difference between the 24-70mm lense and the 28-70mm lense?
Great video. What mic is he using ?
U r a great teacher
Got only Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lense. How can I use it creatively...?

I did a garage shoot in 2020 and now you’ve inspired me to do another one
fav hero shot @1659 . nice is there info on your preset for photoshop?
Some of these portraits are amongst my favorites that you’ve shot.
Interesting.

I like the original images better than the edits. A touch to bright for my taste.
perfect
Where is that parking lot at???
❤❤❤📸
Amazing images but I really dislike that blue preset
every vlogger photographer love the 24-70mm f2. xD
Hi Pye, I have one I would like you to see. Underground parking, one light, one scooter
In the first photo the light on the ceiling is a distraction.
Cool video....edits were a bit much IMO
Sadly Its illegal to do this in my area
16 dislikes what losers LOL hahaha. Amazing work! That shoot looked Fun an effortless.
Twelfth
What kind of challenge is it if you're using models ??? Use normal everyday people ... this is a real challenge.
Everybody can do this easily with that expensive equiptment.
Lol, who can't do this with that equiptment, should give away and look for other job
Love this!
