I did that exact mod years ago. In fact, I suggest you use a steel pulley instead. Those plastic ones break easily after several months of use. I'm currently using the Gates T42015 PowerGrip Pulley.
Have you ever had to deal with a leaky intercooler? Do you know any companies that rebuild the m112k intercoolers since the stock part may just leak again in the future...
@@MrKearfull What a shame! How bad is your leak? I seem to of caught mine fairly early as there was only a thin layer of coolant build-up on the charged air Y pipe. The channel PrecisionMike has a very detailed tutorial on this repair. I don't have the funds to take it to the shop so it looks like I will be learning how to pull the supercharger out of my SLK32...
@@Valsmercedes it uses about 1-2 liters of coolant per fuel tank, ofc depending on how hard i drive it. So i dont want to performance mod it before i get it fixed. Just looking for available options on what IC block i should buy. But at the same time i can change the supercharger bearings, about time because the car has 390.000km on it.
While yoi are taling to Latemodel21 aka Chris also get the Andrew TCU tune. It is miles apart from Vtech'e TCU tune and allows you to toggle between 4 TCU modes by moving the S/W switch back and forth. Comfort Mode, Sports Mode, Agility and a full manual. The other cool thing is, once you are in the right mode you can select the 'S" switch by your shifter again and car will dispay the gear chages and what gear you are currently in
I doubt his TCU is the best look at the top 3 cars all VTech ECU and TCU and the one you mentioned that's so good wouldn't send his tcu out for a unbiased test so word of mouth don't fly proof does VTech actually dyno his cars and the TCU actually added HP no other tuner did that yet
What's funny is people fall for anything all those modes are gimmicks just adjusting the torque management yes I can say because I have tested 4 different vendor TCUs and vtech came out on top and the one you mentioned didn't want to put his TCU up for a unbiased test on a properly tuned car
What's sad is that you delete comments. Also when you say 2nd fastest SLK...in your town? In Florida? In the US? Worldwide? But yeah really sad that you delete comments I unsubbed for that. Good luck
Mercedes Swap Shop guys who also sell the TCU Latemodel21 sells know their stuff. They put manuals into our cars and make it work without check engine lights plus V8 conversions etc. So to the SRT6 guy above...he should not be so quick to dismiss. I understand now that Vtech is probably a sponsor of yours but there should be free speech on this channel...otherwise good way to lose subscribers. I like what you do but dismissing suggestions and deleting comments is ridiculous and I still want to know where you are the 2nd fastest SLK. And if so....that's amazing but it sure doesn't have much to do with your TCU tune. That is not the magic to low 10s in the 1/4.
❤❤❤❤ u got 10s in your back pocket
I hope so sucks that is is now over 80 here in fl
Time to get to the 10s
Cool! Enjoy the belt set up
oooo i will
Your tensioner pulley will also work under your added pulley if you have a spare
Gonna try this out! Thanks!
happy to help

@@Nd_72 yeap, just make sure you run a metal idler pulley.

Dude I did this one my set one time it definitely works NW kit just a little too much slack between that top belt

I have exactly the same problem on my C32 m112k.
Does anyone make aftermarket IC block for m112k?
yes I made a video I replaced mine with a stock one but now looking back I would of went single pass intercooler from BLOODMOTOR SPORT
@@Nd_72 I have been asking around the M112k community and BMS seems to be the way to go. He quoted me $500 including a core refund.
