Where is the display chip and how to test it? My S-8 was water-damaged before I could back it up. I can now hear it receive emails, texts and other notifications including the LEDs. I can reboot it and it vibrates accordingly but the screen is black. My screen was already shattered so bought a new one. I swapped the boards to a new frame and screen and changed the C-USB board and tried to clean up the connections on the boards but still no display. Thanks.

Can i install s8+ motherboard and battery in s8 by doing some adjustments and diy, is it practical?

it will be definitely oca technique mate, if u are to replace the front glass.

@@GetITFixed How to fix SM G955F mother/mainboard that the screen display can't turned on (black screen)??
but it's can response the finger motions, can receive notification, can pick up the incoming call (screen still black) and can play music with headphones connect to it's 3.5 mm audio jack. Hope your best feedback, thanks
