alternative firegroups: left mouse chain fire left arm 3 and top 3, right mouse chainfire right arm 3 and top 3. kinda feels easier to use at least for me XD great build.
Plasma Cannons are basically Clan Light PPCs. Similar damage/range with a touch more heat. But supposedly they deliver heat to your opponent. Lot of fun to watch sir, thanks!!
In his matches you watch some of the people he is shooting stop shooting and try to run only to fall over dead. This works because on the Rhino you can actually bring enough plasma to Overheat a target. And its really hard to track how well OVERHEATING is working like flamers.
Mass Plasma on an assault can work cause you can bring enough to actually cause HeAT issues for what you shoot out when your shooting 3 groups of 3 constantly at something. I noticed that some people you shot would stop shooting mid engagement. Then just die and fall over likely from the heat or ammo explosion from heat.
What is the point of the heat damage if 9 of them won't shutdown guys walking in lava on therma. either buff it or remove it and switch to actual damage.
liked your rinho. I dropped in recently with a MAD IIC with six plasmas, 375 xl and 31 single heatsinks, If I chain fire just right, I get a rotory plasma cannon. the heat is negligible. so once they get red you can hit'em with an alpha. lot's of fun because of the mobility.
PPC spam has always been my favorite kind of mech build. Black Knight in MW4 with plasma cannons was a fun Solaris dueling build. Would be cool if they'd add capacitors and linked caps for PPCs in MWO. More slots and weight for higher RoF and slightly higher heat iirc.
I tried running 6 plasma guns on the recent ebon jaguar free mech. It’s not bad but something about it just doesn’t feel right. Those plasma guns need something but I can’t say what.
So how much heat does the enemy build up. If they get hit by 9 Plasma PPCs center torso. I forget the numbers. And heat spreads to side torsos too if I remember right. Increasing heat gain to target.
@@Gibson7Clans Most people ride the line of their own heat so a spike like that will cause issues. ESP since TTB was able to do like 3 volleys of 9 plasma guns. So he was causing enough issues for them with this build. This might be one of the only viable builds for plasma right now.

I love the sound of the plasma cannon...but it seems massively underwhelming for Clan Space Magic, even compared to the IS LPPC.

That’s a fun build I like to take. I chain fire the shots. To act like a ppc version of the RAC-AC5.

Am I the only one that finds the FX for the plasma cannon a bit lacklustre? Sound and visual both.

This amount of plasma does seem to do okay at suppression of stare builds that are making a lot of heat.

What are CPPC? Clans only use ER PPCs and Plasma Cannons.

I loved mech Assault on the original XBox. It’s a spin off of mech warrior. But it got me in to the series. So I am found of the game. 😁
