Tried selling through Zillow and they charged fees and commissions. In the end I was netting $30k less with them. Best move I never made.

They are not that smart the rising tide of lowered interest rates is what has and is impacting the housing market and their success. Federal regulatory changes after the 2008 housing crash has also had the intended effect. Taken out speculation in new home construction and development by banks and stopped Credit searching for borrowers. Zillow has benefited from that.

Rescoff didn’t do such a bad job, he multiplied the value of the company and the revenue by quite a lot and solved the AI problem. Pretty impressive. Not sure the success in 2020 is totally linked to the founder being back either, all stocks in the market boomed last year. And today Zillow is back at 70 bucks…
