Yes! My kids think my hands are made of oven mitts!😂 I’ll also test a frying pan with my finger and it freaks them out! I tell them to NEVER try it!! 😅

Yes, with the salt! That's something I could never understand with baking; so many recipes saying to add the salt to the yeast and sugar mixture before it has had time to do its work. Why would you purposely kill off the yeast before it can make your dough rise? You might as well leave the yeast out completely and use a different ingredient to leaven your breads and cakes😐 wait to stop the activation of the yeast!
wow, no wonder mama lam's milk bread is so fluffy with layers. I've never rolled each section that many times, but maybe I'll try it next time :D

Inga speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin. There's a video where she speaks mostly Cantonese. My guess is she was raised in Hong Kong and her dad is also from Hong Kong.
@@IngaLam I meant no disrespect... I'm just jealous cuz my mandarin is basically non-existent so my ears perked up when I heard the canto lol... express yourself in all the languages... as long as you can order a baguette, it's a win! 😄😄😄

I love to watch cooking content, but what I love more than that, is watching the talent cook with their family. I feel in some parts of the world, particularly in Asia, it's such a pinnacle moment of the day - around a table sharing a meal. To see then the elders of the house cooking one of their signature recipes and the care that goes into that, passing it down a generation, is really endearing!
