- Marcus Anthony Eriz, 26 of Costa Mesa, was sentenced Friday after he was convicted for the 2021 murder of 6-year-old Aiden Leos. KTLA reports on Friday, April 12, 2024.

should be life not 40
I know this sounds odd, But a Life sentence in prison ( legally speaking ) is only 25 years, thats why people get triple life sentences, Life without parole is 25 years straight with no chance of getting out before 25 years this is more than a life sentence, its all in the wording its not what it sounds like

you shouldn't have to read an apology written by your lawyer, but rather say it out without notes if you want to be genuine.

We all know he isn’t sorry. He had to read an apology letter shame on them. If i was the Judge i would have Ripped that letter.

40 years is like 4 year now. The Justice system has failed once again.
We know that his attorney wrote his "apology" and told him to pretend he felt bad.
I have no faith in the justice system this is just so sad

I remember riding my scooter down by the beach and this guy and his girlfriend pulled up right next to me and asked me how fast my scooter went just days after killing this little boy.

Anyone in a road rage situation like the guy convicted should take a moment to think before doing something stupid and regrettable: is it worth wasting your life? The girlfriend should also reconsider the type of men she dates, in prison.
