Hello Dean, Beautiful video just like always. Thanks for making my morning happy. Okay I have a suggestion. Can you make a video on Nurmenguard? The wizarding prison made by Grindelwald??
This is just such an informative and amazing video. Every one of your videos have opened up more of the PCU (Potter Cinematic Universe) for me. Thanks so much! :)
You are amazing! Love your hard work you put into each video and it's kinda hard to believe you aren't a wizard!!! Also can you do a video on the life of Dobby the house elf?!! It's ok if you can't. Edit:thanks for the ❤️
For me Abeforth, Snape, McGonnegal, and Shackebolt sit at the level beneath Grendlewald, Voldemort, and Albus; and above everyone else. There i said it.
Fantastic job, as well as insightful as always my fellow potterhead. Been watching your videos for almost a year and you never disappoint. Always phenomenal content in my opinion brother. Keep it up! 👍
No god but Allah Islam way for peace and the real monotheism Search for the truth and right way with honest heart And ask him for the right way for his mercy
when you say inappropriate what exactly do you mean? like was he getting kinky with his goats or was he just testing unusual spells on it like the one lockhart used on harry trying to mend his broken arm?
It was implied by JK Rowling that it was a sexual thing. Or at the least something too adult to tell children beyond "he really likes their ""curly horns""
I think Aberforth was and underdeveloped character. I also think Ariana was more hurt by the loss of her father than the attack by the Muggle youths. Percival had married a Muggle-born and I'm sure that went against him. Albus did very well for a Muggle-born's son. The bigoted pureblood rulers, I think, railroaded Percival. Surely Albus must have resented his father dumped in Azkaban like a sack of garbage. I'm sure Aberforth was angry too. I imagine that after Percival went to Azkaban Albus went through a period of misconduct at Hogwarts and probably Aberforth.
I don't think so the cornerstone of Albus character is restraint, even his rage is restrained, I think this quality he always had even as a young man. He didn't just get into randomly attacking muggles he actually sat down to plan with Grindelwald so Dumbledore doesn't even take revenge without thinking it thru. Dumbledore is more his mother who quietly suffers, and Aberforth is his father unfiltered rage with no thought to consequences. It was a 100 years ago it was a completely different world, prejudice, slavery, being bigoted, class and status segregation were the norm. I don't blame Dumbledore for his earlier sentiments what is more admirable is he grew and changed.
I agree with Anu, Albus probably had those thoughts as well due to the persecution of the witches (some real, some not possibly) throughout the centuries. He was extremely intelligent and wanted to travel the world, and many young people wanted to change the world. He felt constrained by his family and sister, and you could call that selfish, but you can also understand he felt resentment as he had everything going for him, he could have ended up being the Head of the Ministry of Magic, but he had to stay home with his sister who must have been hard to control (Fantastic beasts and where to find them shows you how obscuros are difficult to control). He met Grindelwald who was full of confidence, wanted to do great, and admired him (loved him possibly, but I believe it was more platonic and on a spiritual plane rather than on a sexual level), and looked up to Grindelwald. Sometimes, you are blinded by awe and love. He overlooked the language of Grindelwald and his ideals, much like how people were blinded by Hitler when he first came to power. But after Ariana's death he never forgave himself, and he reflected his relationship with Grindelwald, and recanted. I think after Grindelwald left, for the first time, he could really reflect and objectively think about them. After he heard Grindelwald had killed people, and his ruthless methods, and his Nurmengard prison (rather like a concentration camp), he knew Grindelwald was dark and not for him. He stopped craving for power, and he decided to become a teacher, later headmaster at Hogwarts, to nurture, inspire future witches and wizards. He rejected offers to be Head of the Ministry of Magic countless times, not because he couldn't do it, because he couldn't trust himself with power. He then helped defeat Voldemort to ensure peace and equality for all wizards. I think he is a brave man, and I admire him for it!
I really do love ur channel it really explains the other characters other than the main 3 ive alwaya wanted to know the history of the whole jk rowlin world of wizards and u do it thanks for everything u do
Theory video idea for you - What would have happened if Aberforth Dumbledore had killed Albus and Gellert Grindelwald with the Killing Curse out of rage at the death of his sister. Just a thought.
A thought occurred to me while watching this: for all of his power, Albus couldn’t become an animagus but someone like Peter Pettigrew could? Maybe my memory is hazy and I forgot why, maybe it was just a personal preference on Dumbledore’s part but I’d like to see a video about that.
Carlos Wilson probably, but he definitely could have been. What do you think he would’ve been though if he became one? I think because of how smart, powerful and brave Albus was he probably could have been anything from a large species of bird or perhaps a lion to represent Gryffindor? Now that would be a cool video.
I think it is a case of he is too powerful and doesn't need that skill it is almost not worth his time. It is like asking an astronaut when he can fly a spaceship whey can't he fly a plane. When someone is that brilliant they can pick and chose their interests also if he really needed to transform he can just do it with his wand it would be that easy for him, for an average wizard self transformation is not possible. Also the biggest point of all is to be a legal animagus you need to be registered despite Dumbledore flouting of the rules he has lot of respect for the law he wouldn't want to break it just for the sake of it. Infact lot of Dumbledore modus operandi is secrecy he guards a lot of what he is capable of a surprise so I don't think of him the type to have one of his abilities to be public knowledge, registered and monitored.
Has anyone ever wondered if Albus Dumbledore's sometimes lack of fear of death, may be centered around his sister's death. Believing it was his spell that killed her, whether it was or not, he may have already had knowledge of horcruxes and used her death to possibly lengthen his own life. Or has this already been discussed somewhere?
hey Dean , do you think you could do a video of ariana dumbledore , or Garrick Olivander or , Tom riddle senior ( voldemorts dad ) , or newt scammnder , Porpentina Goldstein or queenie goldstien or delphini lastrange ?? just some thoughts
So he was basically a neglected teen like his sister who probably wondered if his brother even cared about him , he then has to watch his brother plan to enslave another race of humans and start a magic heriachy with another even more dangerous fruit loop . Said fruit loop then proceeds to torture because his looses his temper and it resulting in a dual that kills your sister . To top it all off the only way you learn your brother has regrets and felt gulit is via someone else . He never told him face to face . No wonder he was bitter .
great vidio this will help me i am doing a harry potter trivia can i make a suggestion can you make a vidio on the life of Ernie Mcmillon or Katty Bell

Aberforth is one of my absolute favorite minor characters from the series. This video really brought his character to life and was so well done!

Hello Dean,
Beautiful video just like always. Thanks for making my morning happy.
Okay I have a suggestion. Can you make a video on Nurmenguard? The wizarding prison made by Grindelwald??
I am not sure but i think he made a video on that a while ago.
Love that Amino decided this! Also Dean you should write a book of these theories and lives of characters!
About time! I some how recently have been feening for Harry Potter info
This is just such an informative and amazing video. Every one of your videos have opened up more of the PCU (Potter Cinematic Universe) for me. Thanks so much! :)

this is amazing as always! Say, can you find anything on the Fat Friar, the Hufflepuff House Ghost?
For me Abeforth, Snape, McGonnegal, and Shackebolt sit at the level beneath Grendlewald, Voldemort, and Albus; and above everyone else.
There i said it.
Seems like i'm gonna go to bed just a tad bit later, but worth it!

I don't think it was ever explained. But it sure is suspicious.
Aberforth could be a satanist
It was implied by JK Rowling that it was a sexual thing. Or at the least something too adult to tell children beyond "he really likes their ""curly horns""
DemonEyes02 I guess my dirty mind was right. I just never had a confirmation.
DemonEyes02 are you telling me he liked to take goat horns up his ass?
Love the vids
Fantastic video!!! Great work, Dean, as always.
I love these videos. Whenever I feel like watching the videos, it's hard to choose which one. Great job♥
Another top notch video! Thanks for all your hard work!
I really love your channel it made me an even bigger fan of Harry Potter
Amazing Dean!!

Amazing video. I really enjoy watching all your videos

It occurs to me that the "inappropriate charm" by the definition the ministry applies could be as simple as trying to make the goat speak.
