Empowering Education: IOM’s Quick Impact Projects in Peshawar

With the support of the Italy Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the United States Bureau of Population Refugees and Migration, and the European Union, IOM has rehabilitated six schools in Peshawar focusing on providing consistent electricity and water supply through solar power.
4,500 students, including Afghans, are now able to focus on their studies without worrying about being too hot and too thirsty and without worrying about how to use the bathrooms and wash their hands.
