For anyone that needs to know: for niches that are about teaching how to do something and solve problems, if someone is really hurting for finding the info, they are willing to look at almost any videos... Even yours which has very little views. They are also interested in seeing videos that are more recent to make sure everything is still current.
I uploaded 16 vids in one month and already got 800 subs. The key is KNOWING YOUR AUDIENCE. For whom, I am doing videos? Then 1. MAKE BETTER THUMBNAILS 2. IN THE FIRST 10 SECS MAKE THE BEST HOOK TO MAKE VIEWERS STAY LONGER thats all. I hope it helps 🙏

This is really encouraging. I uploaded around 3 videos a week and I got my first 1000 Subscribers in around the 10.5-month mark. I got my 4000 watch hours in around my 12-month mark which means I am not doing too badly. I was around the average. I currently get around 320 Subs a month, and I am now at 3.88K subscribers. Great vid as always Matt! The best thing I learned from you was making vids over 10 minutes. I launched a 13.5 min vid 4 days ago and even though it’s only getting on average 5.5 min retention, that’s still more than double what I’m used to getting. So YT is recommending it big time. I used to be scared that a low retention percentage would hurt, but it’s only worked in my favor. Thank you so much!!!

Even with 1K subs, my audience is telling me what they want, sometimes without me even having to ask!

No problem! In the beginning it doesn't matter that much when you upload. I used to upload at 3:00AM because that's the only time my family had unlimited internet since we had satellite internet
Once your channel grows though then I recommend going in your analytics and seeing when people are on RUclips and then uploading 2-3 hours before the peak times
How many youtube accounts do you have and how do you manage them. Also does RUclips pay you for all and are they all linked to each other for RUclips to know they all belong to you

I am doing 1 a day, for the past week and it is working out. It is letting me gauge the reaction to the videos I upload, that way I can focus in on the ones that get a lot of views from. Most of my vids have like 20 views, but a few of tehm have 200-500 views, so instead of having just uploaded 30 vids at once and hoping they cover topics people like and the algorithm pushes, I can target my next videos towards the same topic that got me the 500 views, and the idea seems to be working, I just put up the first video that matched the one that got a lot of views, and it's already at 200 views in 2 days.

Great advice! I have been uploading videos weekly for the past year now. 60 videos. Have almost 500subs and 2700hours of watch time. It is on par of your formula.
For now I don't do content but I still have my channel and rly idk if the tips that this guy show to us work good at all, like, when I was kid in like 4 months I get monetized but I don't have the 2.7k hours of watch time. Is just the niche, the type of video, the quality of you're videos and how interested are you in you're own videos, like, do you spend time of sponsoring your video?, do you recommend your video to a Specefic community? Do you do specials evens or things like that? Idk, but get a lot of subscribers and get a lot of views is not hard at all if you know how to do it well, but well, wish you luck, bro
I say do it one video a day, that way you can see which topics get more views, and target your videos to those views. I have only been uploading for 7 days, but most of my vids have 20 views, but one had over 500, so I made another video that focused on that topic, and that video is now over 200 views in a day. If you upload all the vids at once, you are just making a giant bet.
Great video matt! So my channel has only 4 videos and the first ever video I posted is on 38k views...not bad for a newish channel and the other 2 on 10k views in a few weeks! I know if I posted daily or 2/3 times a week it would blow up big time!!!
Hey, I just did it with my other channel RJ Raves. I posted 2 reaction videos everyday. once the algorithm realized i was posting that much that fast it started making my videos widely available and the people who watched grew each video after about 8 days then 1 was particularly popular which helped the others I posted just previous to that 1 and the 1 posted immediately after. at about 42K views I had the subs, at 100K views i had the hours. 28 days to qualify and 2 days to get approved.

Since I am unemployed and have no money, I make the videos myself, but it takes me almost 1 week to prepare 1 video. It would be nice if I could post at least 1 video every 2-3 days. Could you suggest a niche where I can make a quick video?
If you can't afford it, have Fiverr do some of the work. Matt has pointed out several times in his videos that it can be as low as 5 or 10 dollars to have something done by fiverr.
I think only you have active community strikes, you botted or bought your channel (like those bot comments), or if you do something against the rules and you get kicked out of the program. Don’t hold me accountable, though lol. This is just from what I know! Good luck 👍
8,000 views and only 50 subs? You need to voice over your videos, They are fun to look at, but people want to know what you are doing, teach them how to cook.. I am a chef,, went to 2 different culinary schools., CIA & Le Cordon Bleu, but gave up on it professionally, you have good looking techniques, but you need to add voice, and your channel should take off, you are lacking the "personal" feel. If it is language, you can do voice to text, and if you are concerned about how you sound, get a good mic, even a cheap one works, like a Tonor for $25-30, then use Audio tools in Premiere pro to boost the audio a bit. Your channel looks like it should take off if you do that, just my opinion.

Don't quit your channel just because your friends or family don't support you. RUclips is full of strangers rooting for you!

Most of my vids have like 20 views, but a few of tehm have 200-500 views, so instead of having just uploaded 30 vids at once and hoping they cover topics people like and the algorithm pushes, I can target my next videos towards the same topic that got me the 500 views, and the idea seems to be working, I just put up the first video that matched the one that got a lot of views, and it's already at 200 views in 2 days.

Great advice! I have been uploading videos weekly for the past year now. 60 videos. Have almost 500subs and 2700hours of watch time. It is on par of your formula.
For now I don't do content but I still have my channel and rly idk if the tips that this guy show to us work good at all, like, when I was kid in like 4 months I get monetized but I don't have the 2.7k hours of watch time. Is just the niche, the type of video, the quality of you're videos and how interested are you in you're own videos, like, do you spend time of sponsoring your video?, do you recommend your video to a Specefic community? Do you do specials evens or things like that? Idk, but get a lot of subscribers and get a lot of views is not hard at all if you know how to do it well, but well, wish you luck, bro

Hi Matt, Must i upload 30 video's in one day? all at once? Or every day 1 and keep it prived until i got 30?
I say do it one video a day, that way you can see which topics get more views, and target your videos to those views. I have only been uploading for 7 days, but most of my vids have 20 views, but one had over 500, so I made another video that focused on that topic, and that video is now over 200 views in a day. If you upload all the vids at once, you are just making a giant bet.
Great video matt! So my channel has only 4 videos and the first ever video I posted is on 38k views...not bad for a newish channel and the other 2 on 10k views in a few weeks! I know if I posted daily or 2/3 times a week it would blow up big time!!!

Hey, I just did it with my other channel RJ Raves. I posted 2 reaction videos everyday. once the algorithm realized i was posting that much that fast it started making my videos widely available and the people who watched grew each video after about 8 days then 1 was particularly popular which helped the others I posted just previous to that 1 and the 1 posted immediately after. at about 42K views I had the subs, at 100K views i had the hours. 28 days to qualify and 2 days to get approved.

seriously he's lying to our faces. Have you seen his "Live Videos" on RUclips, at the beginning of every live video he says I will make sure that you believe in me that im truly live, and people in the comments started write their name, and he keep saying the names to prove he's live, I was wondering why he Never responded my texts, and then I signed up to his next live. AND I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT he's saying exactly the same in every video so its just a video on his live. This is seriously messed up!!! im so so disappointed

Since I am unemployed and have no money, I make the videos myself, but it takes me almost 1 week to prepare 1 video. It would be nice if I could post at least 1 video every 2-3 days. Could you suggest a niche where I can make a quick video?
If you can't afford it, have Fiverr do some of the work. Matt has pointed out several times in his videos that it can be as low as 5 or 10 dollars to have something done by fiverr.

What are the odds of getting the requirements but not getting accepted to the program?
I think only you have active community strikes, you botted or bought your channel (like those bot comments), or if you do something against the rules and you get kicked out of the program.
Don’t hold me accountable, though lol. This is just from what I know!

Just started and have all fingers and toes crossed to succeed with this.
8,000 views and only 50 subs? You need to voice over your videos, They are fun to look at, but people want to know what you are doing, teach them how to cook.. I am a chef,, went to 2 different culinary schools., CIA & Le Cordon Bleu, but gave up on it professionally, you have good looking techniques, but you need to add voice, and your channel should take off, you are lacking the "personal" feel. If it is language, you can do voice to text, and if you are concerned about how you sound, get a good mic, even a cheap one works, like a Tonor for $25-30, then use Audio tools in Premiere pro to boost the audio a bit. Your channel looks like it should take off if you do that, just my opinion.
