It never ceases to amaze me how much the snake oil salesman is applauded for not selling everyone piss water. This guy made this video for the very reasons he explained, lol. Money. This video gets him more affiliates and makes him a lot more money. He is selling a course/resources just like everyone else. 99.9% of anyone who follows this content WILL fail. That isn't to say the content offered isn't useful. But acting like this guy is doing this charitably is peak irony. I don't blame him either for this, btw. He quite literally is saying in the video to do the thing that this video is doing to make money.
I want to thank Matt for giving me hope. I’m 72 and still teaching K-5. Is it rewarding…yes but the job of rising at 5:30 in the morning is getting more and more difficult and the monetary rewards are just not worth it anymore. Yes, I love the kids. Yes, it gives me pride. Yes, I love the ability to help other teachers (as a sub) to give them a way to take much needed time off. There are many more other yes’ to this, but now it’s time for me. After 46 years of teaching…it’s time. Please don’t judge me for wanting more. So, I am going to immerse myself into this new endeavor and in my own typical fashion, “Do My Best”. It’s okay to want more. Teachers have always been guilted into believing that if they don’t want to keep making low paying order to “help students” they aren’t good people. ( Been there, done that. ) Or, believe that if they change careers before retirement, they’ll miss out. But what they won’t say is how many retired teachers have to substitute teach because retirement money is funny. It’s okay to dream big and work to make it happen! Best wishes!❤️

This Guy is unbelievable! So , I lost my job of 25 years at the beginning of covid. And I suffer from extreme depression and anxiety. I am homeless because I can't handle groups or crowds. I have several interests and talents that I don't use. This is absolutely what I need to get back in the world and get my life back!!

I think that for small channels the most important thing is to get good presence from the beginning. If you are not popular, people won't care even if you have the best videos and the best content on platform. I am not beginner anymore, but I know how hard it can be (and honestly if I didn't use a lot of Fame - ster, I would have quit a long time ago. It made everything much easier for me, especially getting to 1000 subs and view hours).

Same. 42, just got downsized. My oldest gets about 5-8 million views on some of his videos, but only has a few subs so he can't monetize, plus he's 12. I've been talking to him about combining our skills since my background is in sales and he loves making the videos. I also have an idea for an app which I think would be extremely beneficial, but I don't know how to make it.

What if you are zero level tech? If you are horrible at editing and things like that. As embarrassing as it is I have trouble even copying and posting. I have trouble figuring out how to move a pic or a video onto certain places on another app, like to a chat I am having. Is this something that will disqualify me? You made the right choices. I went the college route, dropped out half way due to costs. I've since had numerous jobs, my job in warehousing pays quite well now, BUT OBVIOUSLY I'm working on my exit strategy. I'm about to turn 40, don't want to be doing this (working in this field) for no more than another 3 years. Time to get serious again. I do have experience building niche websites and monetizing via AdSense. I have to explore RUclips purely because of the potential to quickly actually get traffic to your content and hence monetize. the easy answer is make a content calendar, since these videos shouldnt take more than a few hours. You can make 3 simple videos in maybe 5 hours. You set them on a schedule upload 3 times a week. It would require you maybe 20 hours a month.

One question I haven’t EVER heard addressed is this…..if I make 30 videos and finally hit all the parameters to get monetized, do those 30 previously posted videos get you paid as well? Another words, if my video number 17 had 500 views prior to monetization, but garners 1000 views AFTER monetization, do those 1000 views get paid as well?
Are there any successful students that are now making money? I am thinking about buying the course but after I buy the $1,000 course, will there be additional apps and software that will need to be subscribed to monthly that require more money?
This guy is super smart, and it is in my opinion that he is self taught. I doubt anything he knows and teaches was taught to him in school. I remember watching some of his videos about Wi-Fi, and other tech stuff back in the days. I never followed him, and though I’ve always been fascinated with technology, I’ve just now became, as of recently, interested on making money through videos or through instagram as a faceless content creator. I was watching some other video and then he pops up. Matt, you haven’t been in my algorithm for years and then this video pops up, and not as a ad, or as someone, at least not in my eyes, someone selling BS. Most videos I ever watched of yours were always for educational purposes, and thinking about how long it’s been, I’m talking about almost 20 years ago maybe 15 if I’m being totally honest. Anyways, just watching this video I know it’s the real deal.

I love what I am hearing about your course. I am living in northeast Alberta, Canada. I am switching my flower farming business model this year from retail to wholesale farming on a larger scale than I have been doing. In addition to that, I am in my first year scaling up with an Etsy print on demand business. I want to document the wholesale flower farming from the startup on a RUclips channel. How much time per day would I need to budget using your course? I have a helper for the farming. I am anticipating personally spending six hours a day on farming and three hours a day on the Etsy business during the growing months. That would leave me about three hours a day I could spend on RUclips. Is it realistic to start with that minimal amount of time a day if I were following your course?

I'm a new mom and honestly I have a decent job pays well but I honestly want to stay home with my baby and be part of her growth and while making money from home. Like someone starting the channel will not immediately need info on affiliate marketing or hiring people from Upwork. They can get to that part once the channel has grown big enough. No, better for him to sell the whole course because most people will never be challenged enuf to do all he offers and the greater the price, the more dedicated people will be. I say this having made an online course long ago myself and watching how few stuck with it when they just got bits and pieces prior to that. People are basically lazy and quit easily and too soon. Then he loses out and people need to put serious skin in the game, so to speak.

I want to thank Matt for giving me hope. I’m 72 and still teaching K-5. Is it rewarding…yes but the job of rising at 5:30 in the morning is getting more and more difficult and the monetary rewards are just not worth it anymore. Yes, I love the kids. Yes, it gives me pride. Yes, I love the ability to help other teachers (as a sub) to give them a way to take much needed time off. There are many more other yes’ to this, but now it’s time for me. After 46 years of teaching…it’s time. Please don’t judge me for wanting more. So, I am going to immerse myself into this new endeavor and in my own typical fashion, “Do My Best”. Again thank you Matt for teaching a teacher. One does NOT have to accept mediocrity in old age. Blessings to you and your family! May your prosperity, health, wisdom, and joy continue to grow.

I think that for small channels the most important thing is to get good presence from the beginning. If you are not popular, people won't care even if you have the best videos and the best content on platform. I am not beginner anymore, but I know how hard it can be (and honestly if I didn't use a lot of Fame - ster, I would have quit a long time ago. It made everything much easier for me, especially getting to 1000 subs and view hours).
Matt, I am so impressed by what you are have done for yourself and what you are doing for all of us. You made the right choices. I went the college route, dropped out half way due to costs. I've since had numerous jobs, my job in warehousing pays quite well now, BUT OBVIOUSLY I'm working on my exit strategy. I'm about to turn 40, don't want to be doing this (working in this field) for no more than another 3 years. Time to get serious again. I do have experience building niche websites and monetizing via AdSense. I have to explore RUclips purely because of the potential to quickly actually get traffic to your content and hence monetize. the easy answer is make a content calendar, since these videos shouldnt take more than a few hours. You can make 3 simple videos in maybe 5 hours. You set them on a schedule upload 3 times a week.

One question I haven’t EVER heard addressed is this…..if I make 30 videos and finally hit all the parameters to get monetized, do those 30 previously posted videos get you paid as well? Another words, if my video number 17 had 500 views prior to monetization, but garners 1000 views AFTER monetization, do those 1000 views get paid as well?

This guy is super smart, and it is in my opinion that he is self taught. I doubt anything he knows and teaches was taught to him in school. I remember watching some of his videos about Wi-Fi, and other tech stuff back in the days. I never followed him, and though I’ve always been fascinated with technology, I’ve just now became, as of recently, interested on making money through videos or through instagram as a faceless content creator. I was watching some other video and then he pops up. Matt, you haven’t been in my algorithm for years and then this video pops up, and not as a ad, or as someone, at least not in my eyes, someone selling BS. Most videos I ever watched of yours were always for educational purposes, and thinking about how long it’s been, I’m talking about almost 20 years ago maybe 15 if I’m being totally honest. I'm just not sure which niche is right for me. I don't feel like an expert in anything, though perhaps the closest is the philosophical/spiritual life-coaching advice niche.
You literally don’t have to be a expert at anything, or I can say you can be an expert at just about, if not everything. All you have to do is ask AI. That thing is it’s own animal, and it’s here for all of us to use as a tool.

Thanks Matt - I think this course and WORKING it, is the ticket for this late bloomer boomer. After I finish a huge art commission, I'll be buying your course and working it like it's 1999! Just when I decided I wanted to grow my channel, without knowing 'how' - you nailed it with things I had no idea about, and some I did. There's a definite niche and sub-niche that I'm a natural at and have a passion for. So YAY - this is inspiring and gives me hope to finally have working on something that actually WILL pay off! Really hard to find a real comment among all those fake comments praising him. If he is so successful and rich and this is so easy to learn with a course, why would he make such a course in the first place and especially why would he charge more than 400 for it. Logical thinking seems very hard for many people!
I work full time to support my family and have 3 kids. I can spend 15-20 hours a week on this. What would my startup (ROI) look like with this amount of time and effort?
I love what I am hearing about your course. I am living in northeast Alberta, Canada. I am switching my flower farming business model this year from retail to wholesale farming on a larger scale than I have been doing. In addition to that, I am in my first year scaling up with an Etsy print on demand business. I want to document the wholesale flower farming from the startup on a RUclips channel. How much time per day would I need to budget using your course? I have a helper for the farming. I am anticipating personally spending six hours a day on farming and three hours a day on the Etsy business during the growing months. That would leave me about three hours a day I could spend on RUclips. Is it realistic to start with that minimal amount of time a day if I were following your course?

Hey Matt, firstly great video so thanks for the ton of information. Secondly, is it possible to break down the course and charge it module-wise? Like someone starting the channel will not immediately need info on affiliate marketing or hiring people from Upwork. They can get to that part once the channel has grown big enough. This will make it more affordable. Hope that makes sense :-) cheers

No, better for him to sell the whole course because most people will never be challenged enuf to do all he offers and the greater the price, the more dedicated people will be. I say this having made an online course long ago myself and watching how few stuck with it when they just got bits and pieces prior to that. People are basically lazy and quit easily and too soon. Then he loses out and people need to put serious skin in the game, so to speak.

Hi Matt, Thanks for your very clear presentation. I have a strong interest in public affairs and what I want to do is to make my channel present statements by myself on topical issues. I can write scripts very well and then outsource the making of the accompanying videos. Is that a viable path?
