YESS! Unfortunately thar was the only good thing about it! 😂 I wonder why it was so different from the mini series? I fell asleep on every episode of this. Lol I tried to watch it last summer.
OMG 😮🙆🏽♂️🙆🏽♂️ I remember this TV series back in 1996 💞🤭 I was turning 10 yrs, being on my fourth grade that time 🔥 It was even the last time I saw it 🤦🏽♂️ Now just bumped into it on You Tube, wow! 🤩😍 Meno Queens, New York
Awww I remember my mom bought this series and she would watch it non stop. I actually liked it when I was little. The beginning always had my eyes lighting up
Tyrone Thompson I've been a T6 fan since their inception in 1988. have you noticed all the acapella artists that have come out since then? I say that Take 6 made acapella cool and now everyone is doing it.. from Glee to the Pentatonix. and all those movies.. TAKE 6 made it "So cool!!!"
Wow I didn't know that Ms. Olivia Cole played the woman in this movie; I thought it was Margaret Avery from the Color Purple. Ms. Olivia did a great job in this movie and she and her legacy will live forever. #RIPMsOliviaCole
Can someone find those tapes and upload the entire series? This show was a spin-off of the 1989 miniseries The Women of Brewster Place, which was based on Gloria Naylor's 1982 novel of the same name. It only had 11 episodes.
I thought the material and subject matter was great, but do agree sit the lesbian staying. My guess is TV wasn’t ready for lesbians especially black ones.
It only aired about five or six episodes, I think. A very anachronistic summer replacement which just didn't work. I worked on one of the episodes. It was a hospital scene, as I recall, and Oprah was crying because she thought Brenda Pressley was dying.
Wow I just knew this as a movie never knew it was a show.😮
This is one of the best TV theme songs of all time.
Thank you for uploading this! ♥

Wow this is my favorite movie by Orphan Winfrey 🙏🙏🙏🤗😇🙋💓💓
Take 6 killing the intro
great show dam shame it got cancelled.
I do remember this! They needed better material to keep it on the air as a show. The lesbians should have stayed on the show too.

If I am not mistaken in the movie they tore the whole wall down if they didn't that hole was way bigger than that
