Hi guys welcome to aclaireytale!! NEW SERIES INCOMING! Walt Disney World Vlogs 2024!!!
We were here March/April 2024! I am in Florida for 4 weeks! So stay tuned for 4 weeks' worth of Florida footage!!
IT'S TRAVEL DAY!!! We had a busy travel day so I didn't vlog an intro which is why I do it from Florida instead! So the day does jump around a little but I didn't want to go straight into the airport montage! I explain our day and then show you how it plays out! We flew from Manchester Airport to Atlanta Airport then Atlanta Airport to Orlando International Airport. We dropped down in Atlanta, it was a long travel day but it did reduce the cost of the flight!
I show an airport montage of duty free and then I surprise my parents to the 1903 airport lounge!! I show you a tour of the 1903 lounge at manchester airport and hopefully you will be able to see if it's worth it. We paid about £40 each for all the food, drink, alcohol and facilities. I then go back to give you my thoughts on the lounge! I did enjoy it, it was a real treat but I probably wouldn't do it every time! We then board our Virgin flight! I show you our seats and all the food Virgin offer! I show you the plane meal, afternoon tea and snacks they give you. We then land in Atlanta where we have to go through security and immigration. I show you a bit of Atlanta airport and then we get our connecting flight to MCO. I show you the famous MCO carpet and the train to collect baggage.
I then show you the car hire process. We hire a car with Alamo and then I show you how to get to Disney from Orlando airport and how much the toll is. I then give you a villa tour!!!

The best of travel day has to be walking out of MCO into the warm heat that smell is 👌🏽 I always say home sweet home 😂 also the first Wendy’s on arrival to our villa just hits different 😂

😊😊😊 My favorite part of travel day is walking out of the airport and feeling the humidity thick in the warm air. I live in the dry desert so humidity is a novelty.

I love 1903 Lounge. One of the more relaxing lounges available but that's because it's adults only and, alas, that's the end of that for us for now with our 3 year old twin Tasmanian Devils 😂 Might book it for our first abroad holiday without the girls when they start school next year though x

aww i enjoyed that travel day, I always use that lounge prior to a Florida holiday, you got a good price its often nearer £50.its great to be able to help yourself to drinks and food, you definitely need to get your full allocated time in there to get your moneys worth. The walk to the virgin terminal is a very long way, but then i think you will be sat for 9 hours so its probably a good thing. looking forward to the upcoming vlogs.

Great video. I saw another RUclipsr’s vlog recently where they had 6 and a half hours at Atlanta !!! I think you had the right amount of time. Looking forward to the rest of your videos. I go to Orlando myself in 11 weeks and 5 days. I am so excited 😊. Doing lots of things I have not done before.

We are staying 2 nights in Caribbean Beach Resort and we are doing after hours parties at Epcot and Hollywood Studios instead of full days in the blistering summer heat.
Brilliant travel Day Claire. These are always my favourite vlogs. The lounge looked fab. I have done a couple of lounges over the last couple of trips. I always try and get there as really as I can to get the benefit of it. They are expensive especially if like me you don’t drink alcohol but I find it’s a much more relaxed way of starting the trip! I love flying VA. That’s who I am flying with in Sept and they fly direct from Scotland which is fab! I got a reward seat and am flying PE which I am just so excited about. It was less than you paid (but also used some air miles). You can tell you are also just so so happy to be on your way to Orlando 😍. I am looking forward to seeing what else you get up to. You look like you are having the best time 😍x

Hi Claire. My hubby and I watched this last night on our TV. Love travel day videos. That airport lounge was amazing. So much food or drink. I told my husband I would love to spend several hours there to eat both breakfast and lunch and to get my money's worth. 😅 I am totally like you when I travel. Love a good travel day from the UK. How fun that you surprised your parents with lounge access. Too bad there was traffic so you didn’t have as much time in there. I love that Virgin includes afternoon tea in your flight. It’s such a neat touch. American does not do that when we travel to and from the UK. Curious did Simon like country music before you met him?

So funnily enough one of mine and Simon's first interactions before we even spoke properly I was whistling Glen Campbell's Witchita Lineman and he finished the song on me! Couldn't believe anyone even knew the song haha so yes he's always liked Country but just a little more into modern country now because of me and our time in America.
Lovely travel day and as it’s raining here just outside Manchester really cheered me up. We experienced the 1903 lounge as a perk for flying Upper class (a treat to ourselves , I might add) with Virgin last April (2023). It was a nice but our food was slow in coming out and as I had to drive at the other end couldn’t really take advantage of the free booze. 😂.
We have always flown direct, so can I ask how long was your actual travel day from leaving home to arriving at your villa?
As I said we’re there for the whole of April last year but missed a possible meet up, I would have treated you to Ghirardelli. 😂 So I’m looking forward to this series bringing back some memories and the weather of 12 months ago.
Ooh amazing that you get it included with upper class! I didn't know that! So we left the house at 8:30am and got in 12:30am US time! so it was very long! It definitely is better to go direct but this was a really good price. Aw haha thank you hope you will enjoy the series!
How far was housing from where you worked in Disney? Did they provide travel to and from work?
Yes they provide buses. So housing was right where Simon pointed out the exit at Premium Outlets. It's changed now, it's now up at Flamingo Crossing :). Thank you for watching!
