Loved this. Cant wait for the next x
Thank you! A few more videos uploaded of this trip now 😊
Thanks for the blog , didn’t realise that adults could order the kids meals , I’ve just updated mine for September as we on the same flight and that meal looks much better .
You're very welcome! We only discovered this when ordering a kids meal for Oliver, it let me order one for me too! It was a lovely meal
Brilliant onboard video on the plane, been looking for someone to cover the inflight entertainment better. Super cute when he fell asleep too 😂
Thank you for the really informative vlog we fly to Orlando on exact same flight in 4 days time and we’re wondering about twilight check in, definitely looks worth doing take some of the stress away. Hope you having an amazing trip, so excited for mine now 🎉
You're more than welcome! Have an amazing time 😊
Welcome to Orlando! We've been to Manchester for a Dua Lipa concert and had a great time. If you're traveling outside of Disney, Madame Toussad's with the maze is really fun for kids. Cafe TuTu tango is a great, unique spot for tapas style food. Bosphorus is excellent for lamb, dips and kabobs. Lunch at hillstone is beautiful Florida. And if you want a real fl day, try weikiva river. Great for family day. Have fun!
Thank you so much! Hope you enjoyed Manchester too 😊
I Love The Exterior Camera.Great Video
Yes we really enjoyed that too, such a unique feature!
Well done mate, very informative video with great explanation of everything, although going into meet &greet at night is far easier that 12 hours before, but just need to remain calm when coming to that roundabout and coming off right exit
Thank you! 😊
Just found your channel, and subscribed!
I really enjoy watching 'travel day' vlogs, so much more relaxing than going through all the hassle yourself! However, your day appeared stress free.
I've been to DW many times in the past, last time was 2013, and from viewing many channels, mainly U.S .ones, I know much has changed, not all for the better imo.
As I'm an 'oldie,' and apart from 2 occasions, travelled solo, I can't see myself going again. Health issues etc.
Unsure if you're still there, but I hope you're having a wonderful time. And btw Oliver is a real cutie. Looking forward to the rest of your videos.
Thank you so much! We've found that giving yourself plenty of time always removes the stress, even with a child in tow! Don't let it out you off travel. Thanks so much for watching and your kind comments 😊
Great informative video!
Thank you so much! 😊
Living out of a suite case for so long can be very difficult. 😒
Thanks for sharing your Holiday mate !!!
It's not so bad once yirue unpacked at the apartment, it's the unpacking at home that's the worst! 😂 Thanks for watching
Loved your little boys table top cover I got a 2 yr old grandson it would be great for
Yes it's a great thing to have for the flight! Saved us a lot of hassle with things falling off the tray table. We got it from Amazon, just searched for children's tray table
Will help me as my grandson will be 2.5 yrs old when we go in October so ty for showing this
You got real lucky with the car hire too, ford edge is normally in the standard SUV category the next level up.
Yeah we were really fortunate but tye other cats in the row were modern and ncje too. Great selection. Alamo have never let us down, we've been using the following for years at various Florida airports
Great videos. Will be travelling to WDW with my wife and two boys (4 & 6) next May so these have been really helpful. Hope you don't mind the question, but with the alamo skip the counter, did they have the car seat ready in the car for you? Thanks!
Thank you for watching! We bright our own car seat over, you get it as part of your luggage e allowance for free. I hope you have an amazing time when you go! 😊
wow, Virgin have changed since the last time I went to Orlando with my mam!
Very nice aircraft and great service!
Hi , could you tell me more about the Mobile passport control app. Which did you use? Love this travel vlog, we are going in August xx
I would be interested to know more too! I had no idea you could do this! Sounds amazing.
Yes of course! Search the Play store or App store for CBP MPC app. You answer some pre arrival questions and put your details on. Once you land all yuu have to do it take a photo of each of your party, then proceed to the Mobile Passport queue. This was completely empty for us, so walked straight through! For more info just search CBP MPC App 😊
@@RoamingwiththeBarrys on document type which would be ours visa waiver? X
@@SarahJayneBevan Me and my family are also to travelling to Orlando in August and will definitely be trying out the mobile passport. All you will need to do are your ESTA’s before you leave. The UK is part of the Visa Waiver Program so you won’t need to do anything regarding that.
hey guys i was on your flight I think! Glad you have a good trave day, I've put my vlog up too!
I'd love to know what yo9u film on, your footage is so smooth + your slo mo clips are ace!
Thanks for watching, your channel is great too! It was a great flight wasn't it? Hope you're having a great time out here.
We film on a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 😊
Hi. Loved this series of videos - relatable as we went last year with a 3 year old and off again next week with a now 4 year old. I was curious ... when you land at MCO and have to take a photo for the MPC app, can this just be done anywhere/anyhow or does it need to be like a passport photo against a plain background etc?
Glad you've enjoyed the videos Robert! Hope you had a great time last year and again this year too. We took our photos against a plain wall, there's plenty on the wall over the immigration hall. The only challenge was getting Oliver to stand still for his 😂
Great video with loads of information, what was the process you used to skip the lines when you landed in the USA please?
Thank you! The app we used is called CBP MPC, it's used the Mobile Passport Control. Just download the app, full in your details, and when you land just take a selfie and you're all set. You can use the Mobile Passport queue at immigration which has next to no queue.
@@RoamingwiththeBarrys Thank you so much for getting back to me, I wasn't quite sure if it was available for travellers from the UK.
Nice vlog! I go in August from Manchester, Can anyone do that mobile passport control thing? Also do you remember how long the flights were?
Yes anyone can use it, just download the app and you're good to go. Our flight was 8hrs 20mins in the end I think
Been looking for new Orlando blogger and you’ve popped up THOMAS! I bet you can guess who it is. 🤣😉
Nice one pal. Looks like I’ve got loads to catchup with on your Chanel. Ade👍
Haha nice one mate! Loved doing our little vlogs on the holiday, it's going to help with the Disney blues when we get home. Will have to check out your aviation videos!! Catch you soon 👍
So excited to find your vlog! Especially as you used MPC! I’ve just tried to set it up for my family but it’s only giving me the choice of terminal B - Airside and Terminal C. Did you have the option of A or did you use another terminal? Thank you 🙏
Yes it's a little unclear, but just select Terminal B-Airside 4 and that go is through no issues. Have an amazing time and thanks for watching! 😊
How old was your little boy when you first went to Florida? I really want to go with our 5yo next year but hubby thinks it will be too difficult cuz we'll have a baby (about 9/10 months)
We first took Oliver when he was 18 months and we were so glad we did, both us and him enjoyed every second. I wouldn't hesitate at all. If anything it'd be easier with a baby as you're not having to run round after them in the parks as you do with a toddler! 😂 Go for it and you won't regret it
Great video, had you all travelled before as it looks like MPC is for returning travellers? Our youngest hasn't been before.
No you don't have to have travelled before, just get your ESTA, download the CPB MPC App and you're all set
Love the wee ones suitcase - where did you guys get it as our son is planet mad!!
It's lovely isn't it? We got it from Home Bargains, £20 if I remember correctly 😊
With using MPC how long (roughly) from Landing to getting to the car do you think it took you? I'm trying to work out out what time I should put for picking up the car, I need to put as late as possible we will be picking up around 6pm but our return flight is 10pm so wanting to drop the car off as late as possible without incurring a charge.
It didn't take us any longer than an hour from leaving the aircraft to getting in our car, MPC is a game changer and will save you loads of time
What is the name of the app you used for the USA passport control? It looks a great idea and hope to use it when we go in August. Thanks, I have found your vlog very useful, lots of great tips 😀
You're more than welcome! It's called CBP MPC on the app store. Definitely worth doing to save a load of time. Thanks for watching 😊
MPC App - could explain the process little more as this would be cool to use when we go in August, got ESTA's etc
It's essentially a Lightening Lane for passport control on arrival! Anyone arriving into Orlando International can use it. Download the app in advance and complete a new form. Select "Terminal B-Airside 4" for your Virgin flight, it's a really quick and easy form. Then on arrival open up the app and take a photograph of each person in your party, click submit on the form, and you're all set. You can then use the dedicated Mobile Passport lane, which for us had no queue whatsoever, we skipped the whole line! The only downside was that we got through well before our cases!
What app was it that you used for getting through immigration in the us please as we're going in October this yr
It's the Mobile Passport Control app by the CPB. It's available on Android and Apple, should be the first result on Google if you struggle 😊
Ty so much for your help I really appreciate it if it makes life easy for me I am happy xxxx you have a great family take good care of them xx
Who did you book your car hire with? I thought virgin had changed to hertz
We booked directly with Alamo 👍
Hello I’ve just been watching your vlog really informative. I’m flying to Orlando in May and my daughter is in a wheelchair. I heard you mention the passport control quick method ? And also getting your cases on a mother conveyer belt where you don’t have to take them on the monorail I’ve never heard of any of this before it will be handy not to struggle with the cases. I wonder if you could let me know the process for this . Thanks so much
Yes of course! Search the Play store or App store for CBP MPC app. You answer some pre arrival questions and put your details on. The additional baggage carousel is immediately after the first one. Just collect your cases after immigration, go through the automatic doors, and there will be a load of airport staff waiting to help you put the bags onto the correct conveyor. Very simple and quick, took loads of stress out of it all
@@RoamingwiththeBarrys that’s great 😀
Hi! Loved your video, we are also flying MAN to MCO next weekend for a disney trip! Im trying to use the MPC app but it is only shoqing terminal B and C as an option at MCO but virgin fly into terminal A? Did you have any problems with this? Thanks! X
Thanks for watching! Select "Terminal B-Airside 4" for your Virgin flight, we had no issues when picking that
@@RoamingwiththeBarrys thanks so much!
I love your son’s airplane tray. You said you got it on Amazon. Can you please share the link? Thank you!
Thank you! It was an absolute god send on the plane. Kept stuff in one place and neatly organised. Here's a link: lenbest Kids Travel Tray - Travel Tray for Kids in Car - Car Seat Tray for Kids Travel - Multifunctional Tray with Transparent Erasable Surface & Large Storage Space - Travel Games for Kids amzn.eu/d/4WHpsSb
@@RoamingwiththeBarrys that exact one wasn’t available but there was one very similar I ordered for my daughter. My grandson will be 2 in August and they are planning a WDW trip in March. I appreciate that you have different content than most vloggers. Thank you!
Can you explain more about the passport control app ? Haven’t heard of that

@@RoamingwiththeBarrysThankyou for sharing this, glad to see you had success with it. I was wondering how you got around not being able to select terminal A.
Thankyou great vlogs 👍🏼
Hi what passport control app did u use please I’ve looked on my Apple App Store but can only find one for u.s residents ?
Hi, here's a link to the website. It's the CBP Mobile Passport Control app: www.cbp.gov/travel/us-citizens/mobile-passport-control
Ok thanks 🙏
Can I ask which terminal you fly into please
We flew into terminal A at MCO
@@RoamingwiththeBarrys thank you then do you go through and you used MPC then collect luggage and go to which terminal after that
Judging by the reflection in the screen your camera looked like a DJI Pocket 3 ? Did you use the Mic with it on the plane or is that the raw audio from the camera itsself ? Also did you film this in 4k ? Great vlog btw
Yes we use the DJI Osmo Pocket 3,it's a fantastic little camera. We don't use the mic as I didn't want to worry about an extra bit of kit with us having Oliver, minimal setup! All the audio is straight from the camera, it has mics on the front and sides. And yes we film in 4k 60fps, large file sizes but worth it for the quality.
Thanks for watching! 😊
@@RoamingwiththeBarrys brilliant, thanks for the info, just picked one up and will be using it on the next Florida series so I'm happy that's the quality ❤️
Do you not collect your cases right after immigration anymore?
Yes you still do, then you have the option of putting the on another luggage belt to take them to car rental
Top tip thank you. Do you literally just look for the luggage transfer belt and put your cases on it and they will turn up at the car rental garage?
I absolutely love your videos, do you guys have an Instagram account? Or TikTok?
Thank you so much! 😊 We don't post to Insta or TikTok, but all our days out and updates are on the channel so definitely worth subscribing
