    I own two of the C20 Pros with the 850W PEAK POWER | 48V 10AH BATTERY. The Front Forks on these bikes are noisy when the compress (they rattle). You can hear it at 12:26 in this video. Simply put, the front forks are noisy and are not all that good in terms of absorbing bumps. And they have welded U-Bracket on them that is used to mount the lights and fender, which makes replacing the forks a bit more challenging. So the forks are what makes the rattling noise, not the battery bouncing in the housing. Forks aside, the 850W PEAK POWER | 48V 10AH BATTERY model is a nice bike. I get about 30 Miles using Level 3 or 4 with pedaling 70% of the time. Throttle Only about 18 miles. I live in Miami, so typically flat, with a few bridges between me and the Beach. Overall, the bike looks cool, rides nice, tires make same knobby tire noise you hear in this video. I added a compression seat and rear brake/turn lights. And oversized lock as standard u-lock wont reach around body of the bike.

    Fat guy here, knows sack all about bikes. If I wanted to use this to cycle as far away as I can, before I'm done on and can't go any further. Can I then use this to throttle me all the way home like it's an electric motorbike (at like 15moh or whatever!???
    If yes, sold! Couldn't care less about the legalities of using throttle without pedalling though so don't worry man hahaha.

      @e-VRC  Год назад +3

      Haha. In theory yes. It depends how far you can get. If you ride away say 30 miles you could throttle all the way back. It's a bit harder to pedal these than a normal bike though. Not loads harder but it's noticable.

    Also I wonder, would upgrading the built in controller, make it faster?! I’d also love to slap some bmx handle bars on these like they are doing on the engine pro lol. I’m in conflict between this and the Engwe X26 … - which doesn’t really have a lot of RUclips content.

      I think this would suit the 'cyber bmx' style more than the engine pro. My plan is to put the handlebars on my ado a20f as i think that's the most bmx looking of the fat tyre ebikes but it would definitely look amazing on the c20.

I’d like to stay within the legal limit (250w, 25km/h and no throttle) most of the time but ocasional extra power would be good if it doesn’t involve any cable plugging/unplugging or changing.

    • @e-VRC

    Hello, I share my opinion of the bike: the brakes are useless... the bad battery, it's a lie that it reaches 150 km, hopefully it reaches 65 km... you can't get anything wet, bad suspension . I forgot and I weigh 60 kilos, imagine someone heavier, the bike arrived damaged by transport, the change was doubled, I had to pay almost €30... they didn't refund me anything, very bad.

    man you shared 250W model 1000x times. we want to see 500W version compare to 250W

      Well twice 😅 I can't get the 500w version in the UK.

    Is it genuinely UK road legal?…A lot of bikes claim to be, just because of a 250w motor, but then you find they have an illegal 48v battery. Some reviewers are also under the impression that ‘almost legal’ is good enough….until they meet a zealous copper, get their bike impounded, face a 5k fine and six points. It ain’t worth the risk….

    Got mine today and don’t like it. Done 3 miles and lost a bar. I sold my ep 2 pro ( which done 10 miles for 1 bar and a lot faster) because the battery on this would last longer. So disappointed ☹️

    I’m getting police ebike anexiety because commenters be mentioning 6 points on your licence.. I’d loose my job and my car licence in that scenario. Maybe this is the way.

      @nb_WildBlueYonder yea man I’m gonna buy he Engine X too. I think there’s a very LOW chance of getting 6 points on engine x, tbh it might also be law fanatics fear mongering on RUclips comments trying to deter people buying 750w ebikes, idk.
      My brother got stopped by police on his 1000w super 73 by police here in NI, they just wanted to check out his bike and have a conversation with him because they thought it was a motorcycle but they didn’t have a clue about ebikes lol.

      @nb_WildBlueYonder My next research will be - in the event of a police stop, what’s the fastest way to switch from unlocked Engine X to Locked 15mph. Even with it unlocked, they are hardly gonna spin your wheels or do a voltage test - unless you’ve just rammed through pedestrians and killed people lol
      Next point- how can I disguise the throttle? / or switch it off momentarily during a police stop.
      Even still - the engine X has 250w certification. I shouldn’t even be too worried. My brother doesn’t even know the law, he laughs going past the police station at 30+mph on his Super73 not having a worry in the world 😂

    info if anyone wonders the links dont work because A they dont sell this version anymore
    B the new version has new upgraded suspension and the battery seems to have better cells and a rear rack
    dont know why they dont sell a 19.2ah version its bit weird as well as they keep this video on their website where they sell it when its not even the bike for sale
    all the reviews on the upgraded version atm of this comment are all in french
    This its still a good video just a slight outdated because they dont sell this version of the bike and the complain on the suspension not valid anymore since its a new one seems to be similar to the ep 2 pro susepension

      @@e-VRC will you make a new video of the upgraded version so we can have one in English :D? 1 of the french reviewers says it has 50% more battery from his title witch i taking with a pinch of salt but if it has much better cells maybe it has .

    Is this bike 100% legitimate for uk roads?? I don't want 2 know if police is nice, nut can they take 250watt ebike and give you points I honestly don't think it's worth possibly losing my licence? Can you tell please

    • @e-VRC
      @e-VRC  Год назад

      No because it has a throttle and can travel over 15.5 mph. However you.can just disable the throttle and limit the speed to 15.5 and then it is legal.

    This sound is not the suspension, its battery rattling

      It makes the same noise with no battery. It is the suspension.
