What I honestly hope for is this years Chargers team to be like that Giants team who barely made into the playoffs and went all the way to the Superbowl and took out the undefeated Patriots. They remind me of that team, they’re not stacked roster wise but they’re still good and talented enough to make that run.

Chargers had to cut their two starting WRs, starting RB and starting TE, 90% of their offensive production. Not only that, they replaced those skill positions with leftover trash from other teams no one else wanted and two terrible WRs already on the roster. Quentin Johnston? Josh Palmer? Gus Edwards? Will Dissly? Hayden Hurst? lol. Washington's roster is elite compared to the trash roster Harbaugh has to work with. He should be COY no brainer.

All some people pay attention to is stats. And since his stats are down they think Herb isn’t great. Although when he did compile stats they said only wins matter. Herb has been saddled with shitty coaches, defense and O line. This year his o line is still suss in the interior. And yet when Burrow suffers with a bad D and trash for an o line he still gets credit for being great.

    • @hirolla74

Herbert has had a trash OL since forever until now. Burrow has had a great OL, WRs, RBs. Burrow's season now is what Herbert has suffered the past three years prior. And Herbert still put up decent stats with a shitty OC (Lombardi) but with a losing W/L record. I guarantee if Herbert was with Cinn, he wins that SB.

Herbert gets way too much blame for being on a bad organization (up until now). His first 4 years he was plagued by damn near everything: bad coaching, bad special teams his first two seasons, bad defenses up until this year, bad OLs except year 2, bad running game every year. The 27-0 Jags game I mostly blame on the defense. Our “defensive” head coach allowed long scoring drives to happen when they needed to bring that home. Herbert all in all, reminds me of Stafford on the Lions

[4:22] Lamar Jackson has 39 Touchdowns to 4 Interceptions, with 68% completions, and 11-5 record… (400+ Pass Attempts & 3 or fewer INT, is very superficially niche, to hype up Herbert)
Aaron Rodgers 2020 / 2021 seasons are far more impressive 48 / 37 Touchdowns versus 5 / 4 Interceptions, while completing 70.7 / 68.9 percent of passes, with 13-3 records… Herbert is an elite quarterback in the NFL indeed, but randomly irrelevant statistics are not necessary. The guy is GOOD…

And Rodgers won MVP those seasons. Deservedly. Herbert was forced into being a game manager more games than he'd have liked. I would bet 10K that a conversation between Harbaugh and Herbert took place in OTA's when we lost Keenan, Mike Williams and Ekeler where Jim told Justin - just hang in there this year. Be everything that you are and we will win games, double what we won last year. But if you give me one season to help YOU become the leader you were born to be, and that this team needs you to be, then we go and fill out our skill position players to the benefit of YOUR skill set - in season two the sky will be the limit for this squad. And you will be even better as a QB, Leader and Human. You'll be ready. This team will be built for you, and I'll simply do what I do, and we'll climb the mountain top and ring the bell when we get there... Guarantee a conversation like that - close to that - took place. Gonna be a fun team for the next 10 years...

We play the texans, we'll for sure win. We play the steelers/ravens, definitely a winnable game. Don't see us playing the bills 1st rd. Moving to 2nd rd, we can definitely beat the cheifs. Afc championship game us vs bills, that would be a really good game. I think it would be a close toss up, could definitely see us making a deep push in the playoffs. Wouldn't be surprised if we made the superbowl, and those nfc mfs don't play defense.

[3:06] How were the Chargers so badly managed…
Brandon Staley went 9-8 his first season, then 10-7 his second, with a 30-31 playoff loss to the Jaguars, then went 5-12 last season when the entire team was injury stricken including Herbert…
By comparison, Sean Payton’s first TWO seasons with the Broncos are not currently better than Staley’s were…
    🤔

Yeah they don't have to play the bills cuz they're in the sixth round but if they win and beat the Raiders they'll be in the fifth round which they will play the Texans

They are locked into the 6 seed at worst and if the bengals win and the chargers beat the lowly raiders, they get Houston round 1 and should expect to win. If another wildcard team wins and they play Buffalo round 2, that’s rough. I’d rather take on KC

I'm not sure Jim Harbaugh lies in front of a camera when he's going public with his latest movie claiming there was no CGI in his movie when there was in fact tons of it. He dissed at least 400 shots and double that with regards to employees working to make his movie an academy award-winning movie. All due respect Colin, and I realize this is not your Channel, but do you realize the situation with regards to his lies?
    Poor analogy Colin.

Chargers are going to knock out the Chiefs. With McConkey and Dobbins back, watch out Bills.

OMG, The Bolts played a bunch of loser teams this year thanks to Staley ineptitude last year. Jim's Charger team only beat one team with a winning record and because they beat up on a shat NE team you are going to crown them? Yeah they "chargered" a lot let this year and yes Jim is a winner and Yes the Bolts can be a good team going forward but right now they have a crap O-Line, that cant help the run first mentality and frankly is not giving Herbert the time he needs to let his second class core of WR get open. The Def was the strong point early in the season but lately the front 5 is not putting enough pressure on the opposing QB. They Bolts will be better next year and going forward there is hope (I Believe) but this year is simply a rebuilding year were a playoff bid came from a super weak schedule.
