Okay so: once upon a broken heart is one of my favourite books. I read it before I read caraval and I definitely think it's better if not just because Jacks is more the focus of the story. Some find Evangeline to be dumb or boring. I just think that she's all of us in a world like that. I'm soooo excited for the sequel! Also yes your edition is the UK one as is mine. (It's a lot more detailed than the US one)

Awe yay!! I’m so glad you got to travel!! I went to Paris as a senior in high school, and picked up The Scarlet Letter from Shakespeare and Co (one of my favs)
So glad to know Phantom will be the June book! I bought the beautiful BN edition during the hardback sale but wasn’t sure when I’d get to it, you guys and *EMMIE* both talked me into finally reading Frankenstein in January so I hope I can join in for some motivation to get to it! I LOVE the stage musical.

OMG I LOVED Once Upon a Broken Heart!!! There is also a trilogy that goes before that book that can help you understand the book better but it's also amazing on its own. I am so excited to see if you like it.
