thank you so much for this video, I've recently discovered that I'm allergic to some of the preservatives in liquid soap so now I have to use bar soap after an entire life of only using liquid soap, and I was gettting so irritated that the bar got all wet and slimy but this way works perfectly.

Great! Also that soap raiser with the tiny dots means the soap surface isn’t in contact with wide stripes which means wet wide stripes underneath when sitting there. I bought that one on Amazon for 99p

Hi Saki this is a awesome method I have been trying to learn how to make my soaps last.. my biggest concern is when I’m in the shower I run through soaps like crazy.. can you tell me or make a video on the proper way to make the soap bars last in the shower.. tell me your best option on this while in the shower do you A wet your soap bar first then lather it on your wet washcloth.. Or B just wet your washcloth first then add the bar soap while it’s dry?
I just make sure the soap isn't dripping wet when I put it back on the holder (which, by the way, should be far away from the splash zone, if possible). One tip I can give you is to hold the bar high while you're drying it (with your hand or a wrung washcloth), because if you hold it below shoulder height, all the water from your arm will flow downward onto your soap. I'm sure I look like a total dork when I shower, but it saves my soap, and it's not like anyone's watching. =P
I have expensive soap and a very moldy apartment with no exhaust vents in the bathroom. I live across the street to the coast and all my soaps die so fast. Idk thank you, it's just getting everyone else in the house to do it too that is hard

Long time ago my soap bar used to last 3 to over 4 weeks although I use it daily 3 to 4 times a day. Today, the soap bar shrinks to very tiny piece of soap bar after few days only from extracting it from new box of soap bar (4 to 5 days only) although I am using it the same way I did before. I wonder why now a days my soap bar (same to the bars I bought before) last few days only when it lasted over a month, in the last years...! It look like I have a JENNY in my basement who is stealing my handwashing soap bar ...! I have been examining this strange phenomenon for a while and the same thing keep happening again and again. Any advice ?
You are consuming a while bar of soap in a few days?? That is a lot. Do you have roommates who use it? Is it possible that you don't remember washing your hands 20X more often than you used to? There's also the possibility that the manufacturer changed the soap recipe, but I wouldn't expect it to be that drastic...
Or I let the bar soap in an open area where is more light and dry air

What about body soap?
Same concept! Try to avoid grabbing the bar with super wet hands. It helps to have the soap tray higher up in the shower/bath, so that water doesn't trickle down your arm onto the soap as you grab it. When I'm at the end of my shower, I shake my hands dry and give the bar one last sweep, to remove as much water as I can. Hope that helps!
