  • Today I grow white radish from seed to harvest, sometimes known as sinigang radish or daikan radish, it contains only 16 calories per 100g. Vitamins include, vitamin C, potassium, copper, and folate. It also contains compounds such as glucosinolates, which act as antioxidants and have been shown to help prevent the onset and halt the progression many types of cancer.
These radishes look more like parsnips than normal red radish. However it is indeed a radish and not related to the parsnip at all

How's she goin'? Would I be right in thinking you don't have 'a' specific growing season in the Philippines? It looks like you can plant what ever when ever you want. I like your raised beds. Nice and easy to work on and at!!! Take care Pascal!!

He there Mike. These are challenging, as are most root crops grown beside the ocean. There is no winter here. March to July is dry season 32C to 38C day (26C to 32C night) with little or no rain. September to November is called the rainy season, (24C to 33C day (23C to 30C night) although we have being getting less and less rain this past several years. ... Pascal
