    This car has so many issues I’m about to just trade it in😂 nothing more frustrating. My airbag light is one when slowing down, tire pressure light when they’re just fine, and change oil won’t reset.

    So I can go to a salvage yard and grab a clock spring off another unit as long as I zip tire the clock spring before removing ?

      Only some salvage yards let you remove it . Also, zip ties can be used properly, as long as the steering wheel is centered and the front wheels are aligned straight ahead. To avoid compatibility problems I did get the clock spring from a vehicle made the same year.

      @@mtlcarguy thanks for the reply , ok I will go check to find the exact year and see if it’s possible to remove

    I replace my class ring and I'm still getting squib 1 and squib 2 shorted together (b1b0b) any ideas?

    • @mtlcarguy
      @mtlcarguy  Год назад +1

      B1B0B is a code for the squib 1 on the passenger side.
      Usually this code can be generated by shorted wires or bad connections or a defective Module Occupant Restrain Controller or a defective airbag.
      This is a link to a PDF document to know more about the ORC system.

    What is the replacement part number ?

    • @mtlcarguy
      @mtlcarguy  Год назад

      The replacement part came from a recycling facility. The vehicle it came from was built the same year and equipped with the same options. I did not keep the part number but you can look at the video at 6:01 min. for a partial view.
