One way that I increased my J-perm speed is by using my right index finger when executing the F’ move since the U move “loads” the index finger and if you “carry” it through R’, then you’re already in a position to just flick the F face counterclockwise. That’s helped me, though I know it’s unorthodox. I went from about 2 seconds for J-perm to around 1.10 on average. I’ve only really been speedcubing since November so.. I’m slow lol
Hi J perm! I love you’re videos but can you start including 2x2s more? I really wanna see another version of this tutorial for 2x2s because i wanna develop 2x2 turning speed
Assuming you are similarly dextrous with both hands, would it make more sense to learn the mirror for every algorithm so it can be done with both hands? For example, you would learn sune and its mirror so you could do it with either hand, but you would also learn antisune and its mirror. That way, if you end up having to use your left hand during f2l (or during an alg that has you switch grip in the middle, like niklas or something) you can always transition to last layer without having to reset your grip to the other hand by just completing the rest of the solve with the hand you were already using.
Sounds good in theory, although for a lot of algs I feel like the time spent into making your 2nd hand good is better spent on just learning another alg. This is like being method neutral, where it's obviously better if you could do it, but the time it takes to be good at it is better spent somewhere else.
how tightly should you be griping your cube? ive been having a hard time with keeping the cube stable doing certain moves and being able to actually keep speed

I bet you can't even scramble a 1x1x1 ;)

- J Perm 2020
Maybe he is not good in editing . That's why he don't put any intro.
Just try this.
The Fridrich method or the CFOP method (cross, F2L, OLL, PLL) is a fast method for solving the Rubik's Cube created by Jessica Fridrich. It consists of four steps: Cross, F2L (First Two Layers), OLL (Orient Last Layer), and PLL (Permute Last Layer).
Did you just get sidetracked in a YT comment??
Will magnet cube helps to turn faster?
Been using a non-magnet cube it always stuck or over turned. Considering to get a magnet one but or continue to practice with current one. Would like to ask opinions. Will it make a big difference? Thanks
If you’re willing to spend a a little more, yes it is worth it
@@gorillapantsuit1734 thanks it was a comment 2 years ago. I got 2 magnet cubes already. Much easier to use especially the Gan cube.
I'm gonna break the cube if i'll do this😂😂
(I can't btw)
first? edit: nope
Do speed cubes make a difference? Im wondering whether i should buy one, but dont wanna spend money on smth that doesnt make a difference. Thanks!

Hey Jperm!

i dont use my ring finger because then the cube falls out my hands.
should i switch to using my ring finger or not??

Hey when u do right algorithm and sudden left it takes time to keep the position of hand is there any tip for that situation? J perm i need ur teaching i want to be come a good cube solver
Nice coach for cube guide 👌👍.
I had a question that when you are doing the sledge harrmer, you regriped the thumb, so is there a way to do it regripless
use the left hand index
It’s pretty satisfying to watch,it’s like you have mind powers and you move the cube lol
