@@r4vster828 so in 1983, I was working for an electronics company and we had a stand at one of the first Perth Electronics Show. CD’s came out that year and we were surrounded by 4 hi-fi stalls who only had ONE cd and that was Toto IV. And they only played ONE track - Africa. By the end of the show I had heard that song about 50 times and I couldn’t listen to it any more. When I listened to the album I always skipped that song. I think I’ve just about over it now😂😂😂

This is just a song you don't ever, ever, ever cover. That's what I thought coming in, because I've thought every cover of this song has been terrible, but this was excellent. Way to make it your own, while keeping the original vibe!!!
Funny you should say that... I don't have a good reason for it, but I put together a playlist of people covering this a few years ago... 120 different versions (there were more, but some were deleted, some hidden).
