@@jakequade6214cover songs are easy to clear. The original writers just get 100% of the publishing. The only reason this song isn’t on Spotify is because either Glass Animals or their label doesn’t want it released
This really embodies the meaning of Like A Version. Glass Animals truly put their sound into Say My Name and transformed it 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Except that they ripped this off from Cyril Hahn. Check out that cover and tell me they haven’t lifted from it. Credit where credit is due.
@@adamstoker I listened to that cover you mentioned and while I hear the similarities, I think its important to remember both artists are covering the same song. They aren't going to flip the song on itself and change every aspect. It's very possible Glass Animals went down the same route in the way they wanted to remix/cover the song (without influence from Cyril Hahns cover). I say that because the Glass Animal cover sounds as if this is how they would write this song, it has their Dreamland vibe.
